HOW I FOUND MY NAME

HOW I FOUND MY NAME
September 26, 2005

New people who come into my life often ask about my name, so I've decided to put the information in a blog. When I was activated and awakened to my angelic mission, I was Divinely guided to put the title "An Agent of the Light" (shortened form of "An Agent of the Light Force of Archangel Michael") on my business/calling card. Several times people I gave the card to told me, "You're an angel. Put that on your card!" Of course, I protested that I was not an angel. Then one day I was guided to look up the word "angel" in the dictionary. One of the definitions was "a good and beautiful person." I thought to myself, "Well, I try to be." Then I was guided to put "An Angel of the Light" on my card (short for "An Angel of the Light Force of Archangel Michael"). Oh, the ramifications of that! Won't go into it here.

At an organization's garage/rummage sale shortly thereafter, I was drawn to a t-shirt of beautiful love prose, began talking with the man wearing it, feeling more and more of a connection as we talked and held hands. This cosmic man and I began romantically involved a few weeks later, and he called me his "Light Angel" and his "Angel Light," It was then I knew that I had found the name I had been seeking for so long: Angel-Light.

I changed my name to Angel-Light (no middle name, no last name, just Angel-Light) in all but the legal sense during the last quarter of 1991 (was pretty much "out of the system" anyway). Years later, I discovered it had become less expensive to change one's name legally, and that I could do it without an attorney's assistance. So during the first quarter of 2001, I changed the name legally, acting as my own attorney. I needed a last name and chose "Love." Lovejoy would have been nice, but Angel-Light Love gave me a numerological vibration I liked. My name was Angel-Light for 9 1/2 years. My legal name has been Angel-Light Love (no middle name) for 4 1/2 years.

Being Who I am, I Am Angel-Light. I Am That I Am.

HEALING MINISTRY

HEALING MINISTRY
September 26, 2005

Before I officially began my Love Work in 1990 (having been unofficial previously), I was given information by various intuitives about my mission, including: "You are here as an incredible healer." "You are truly an ambassador for God." "You will have a wonderful ministry."

The primary focus of my Love Work/ministry has always been serving as a Divine healing instrument, and it still is--whether it be channeling Healing Love Energy; restoring the integrity of the body-mind unit by releasing illegal entities/ unwanted guests/ attached spirits; clearing imprints and removing implants from the etheric body; clearing and cleansing the energy field; recharging/energizing; clearing negative patterns/programs. Add to that: teaching people methods to establish and maintain a strong spiritual connection and to heal themselves; transmitting Divine guidance to those who are seeking healing of one or more areas of their lives. And there's more!

I subscribe to the "trickle down" theory of healing. Behind every physical symptom is an underlying cause--usually in the spiritual/ethereal body. The status of the spirit determines/establishes the state of the mind, and the thoughts create the emotions--without fail. It has been proven that certain types of emotions (both repressed and expressed) are directly related to certain physical diseases. If someone comes to me with a physical complaint, I can focus strictly on that without exploring causes at various levels if I am Divinely inspired to do so, but normally we begin by searching for root cause using various techniques. Many times my "unseen crew" is doing other work simultaneously. For example, once I received a call from a man who wanted to establish a spiritual connection. At the time, he was receiving a disabilty check temporarily because of a work injury involving his back and was experiencing discomfort and pain despite medication. As I was guiding him through a meditation process, I became aware that in another time-space (on another level), he was lying on his belly on a table and a group of light beings (my unseen crew) were working on his back. I continued to witness that for some time during our session.

When the process I guided was complete, the man arose to a sitting position, grabbed his back, and exclaimed with a look of wonder on his face, "What happened? My back! My back doesn't hurt anymore." And then dismay took over, and he said, "Oh, no! Now I'll have to go back to work!" You can guess what happened: He rejected the healing and took back the dis-ease. He eventually had physical back surgery performed by medical doctors.

Channeling Healing Love Energy, I Am Angel-Light. I Am That I Am. My ministry/Love Work is supported by some of those I assist and by others who want to donate on behalf of those who are unable to do so.

FANTASY DINNER GUESTS

FANTASY DINNER GUESTS
September 20, 2005

While eating recently, I remembered the "fantasy dinner guest game." I thought about people I would invite to a special dinner because I admire them and what they achieved during their lives.

There's Jesus Christ. (Did you know that Christ/Cristos is a title meaning "anointed one"?) My favorite teachings of Jesus are in "The Sermon on the Mount" (Matthew 5, 6, 7). I also take very much to heart Matthew 25: 34-36, 40: ". . . , Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me food; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in; Naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. . . . Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these, my brethren, ye have done it unto me." (Gideon Bible)

I would invite Peace Pilgrim, who changed her name, left her belongings behind, and set out with nothing but the clothes on her back, a comb, and paper and pencil to walk the country for peace during the Korean War. Peace Pilgrim is a major role model for me. Her teachings have been published by an organization called "Friends of Peace Pilgrim." Some of my favorites are: (1) "When you become a channel through which God works, there are no more limitations, because God does the work through you. You are merely the instrument, and what God can do is unlimited." (2) "No one is truly free who is still attached to material things, or to places, or to people." (3) "People have had to make up for their spiritual impoverishment by accumulating material things. When spiritual blessings come, material things seem unimportant."

Another of my role models is Mother Teresa. What educated person isn't aware of the contributions Mother Teresa made in this world? So much love and compassion and actions on behalf of the suffering. Interesting thing happened at the time Princess Diana was killed in a car accident. When the world was focusing on Princess Diana, the name "Mother Teresa" came into my mind numerous times. I discovered what that meant when a week or two later, Mother Teresa quietly made her transition. It was only then that it was brought to my attention by the media that Princess Diana and Mother Teresa had actually spent time together and consulted on various projects. Questioning Divine Spirit, I learned there was a strong spiritual connection between the two.

What an honor and privilege to have the presence of Mahatma Gandhi at dinner! What this one man achieved is proof that nonviolence can achieve goals--despite those who know no other way and insist in engaging in violent activities.

And to actually be in the presence of Paramahansa Yogananda in this life (as I've been in another life), would be a special blessing. During the 1980s, I picked up a hardback book at a garage/rummage sale that did not have a paper cover: Autobiography of a Yogi. When I opened it up, my eyes met the eyes of Paramahansa Yogananda, and I exclaimed to myself, "I know this man!" Since that time, I've been privileged to meet and/or hear speak people who studied under Yogananda or his guru, and I recognized them as "old friends/acquaintances," too. Yogananda's teachings have been published around the world and Autobiography of a Yogi is considered a classic in the category of spiritual books. Yogananda said: "It is not easy to be spiritual, but it is very easy if you will only follow a few rules. Begin by simplifying your life. Then, remain somewhat apart from others. If you want to find God, don't mix too much socially. Seclusion is the price of greatness." In my opinion, a certain degree of spiritualization leads to this lifestyle automatically--without conscious effort. I've always considered games like card games a waste of time, so it was sweet to have that validated by Yogananda: "Never kill time. It is too valuable to waste on useless things. I never learned to play cards or checkers or any such thing because I saw they are just a means of killing time. Life is too precious to squander."

I realize that historians (and others) are on record describing Jimmy Carter as an ineffective (etc.) president, but many (including myself) admire him as a person and what he has achieved since his presidency. I'd invite Jimmy and Roslyn Carter (because they are very much a team).

Add Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Coretta Scott King, his wife. Dr. King's "I Have A Dream" speech enthralls me every time I hear portions of it, and I have the words in document form on disk. What a man possessed with a vision whose service to humanity will never be forgotten!

Now aren't I selfish? No friends, no family. Just these incredible people and me, myself, and I. I probably forgot some (maybe Molly Ivins, a liberal columnist of Texas; Wynton Marsalis (have a crush on him); Oprah Winfrey; Mark Twain; Anwar Sadat; Nelson Mandela; Jesse Jackson).

Fantasizing, I Am Angel-Light. I Am That I Am.

LIBERAL QUOTES

LIBERAL QUOTES
September 19, 2005

I suppose it's lazy of me to peruse the new nonfiction additions to the library and neglect the shelves unless there's nothing new I want to read (and I read nonfiction 99.9% of the time). I smiled many times over the weekend when reading The Best Liberal Quotes Ever: Why the Left is Right by William Martin (Illinois: Source Books, 2004). The quotes are arranged in sections by categories and the pages are easy to read. I've chosen some of the quotes to add to my collection of favorites, and some of those I'm sharing in this blog.

Marianne Williamson: "Nothing liberates our greatness like the desire to help, the desire to serve."
Carl Jung: "The shoe that fits one person pinches another; there is no recipe for living that suits all cases."
Martin Luther King, Jr.: "Everyone can be great because anyone can serve.... You only need a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love."
Robert Ingersol: "The hands that help are better far than the lips that pray."

My favorite concerning relationships comes from Frederick E. Perl: "I do my thing, and you do your thing. I am not in this world to live up to your expectations, and you are not in this world to live up to mine. If by chance we find each other, it's beautiful." (Those words have been quoted many times in books.)

The funniest quote in the book was: "If you remember the sixties, you weren't really there." Don't remember who said it, but I laughed out loud to read it.

My favorite quote in the book are words of William James: "We have grown literally afraid to be poor. We despise anyone who elects to be poor in order to simplify and save his inner life. If he does not join the general scramble and pant with the money-making street, we deem his spirit less and lacking in ambition." (I've been judged thusly more times than I really want to remember and no doubt it will continue to be the case as I go about my mission of service in this world--teaching, healing, etc.)

Shunning labels, but Liberal anyway, I Am Angel-Light. I Am That I Am.
