DIVINE INPUT

DIVINE INPUT
January 25, 2006

When I arrived at the library door this morning, I was right behind a group of about 15 children (around ages 4 & 5) and two teachers. They formed one long line in front of the door. A teacher said, "Someone wanted to sing. What do you want to sing?" A child responded, "God Bless America." And so they did. Guess who had to get a tissue out to wipe the tears in her eyes? Tears forming again as I write.

And then the teacher said, "Let's count together." They began with one . When they reached a certain number over 50 (that certain number being my "magic number," which the Divine uses to reassure and remind me), the teacher noticed a library employee coming to unlock the door. She said loudly, "Okay, we counted from one to ____ [my magic number], and now the doors are opening!" My magic number! Then, "The doors are opening." A coincidence? I think not. It was a message from the Divine for me. What a wonderful way to begin the day!

If you are open to receiving Divine input in unusual ways, keep all your senses wide open and pay attention to what is going on in your environment and the areas you drive through. It's fun to start out to go somewhere and ask the Divine for input concerning a particular matter and then open to input in unusual ways. If you're skeptical, keep a notebook handy to record what may be Divine input.

Trusting my Divine Mission Control, I am Angel-Light. I Am That I Am.

SCHIZOPHRENIA - OR NOT

SCHIZOPHRENIA - OR NOT
January 23, 2006

Was watching a Dr. Phil show on mental illness (probably a rerun) several weeks ago with someone (because of the subject--not that I watch much television otherwise). One of the people featured at length had been diagnosed with schizophrenia because she heard voices almost constantly in her head. Despite this, she managed to live a productive life. The person watching the show with me was concerned, and said: "I talk with my angels and guides. Am I schizophrenic?" I reminded her that the schizophrenic woman clearly stated several times that she heard voices, just like she heard Dr. Phil's voice (as opposed to thought forms). This relieved the questioner, who said, "I don't hear voices." But that got me to thinking--and I posted an inquiry to a couple of my Yahoo groups, seeking comments on the subject. Group members can be described as cosmic, spiritual, many clairovoyants, clairaudients, etc.

I remember years ago seeing a woman "talking to herself" animatedly as she walked down the street. Today, so many people wear earphones so they can talk on their cell phones hands free. Someone who'd been in a coma and awakened after ten years might assume there are now a lot of schizophrenic people walking around.

Then there are people with psychic gifts/abilities--some of whom have had or have television programs where they talk to spirits and give messages to people in the audience. I personally am acquainted with many people with psychic abilities, and have those gifts myself. That doesn't make us all schizophrenic/mentally ill. I was almost certain when I inquired of the Yahoo groups that there are people who have psychic gifts who don't recognize it and have been labeled by mental health professionals as schizophrenic.

I received some well-thought-out, insightful input from some members of the groups. Some shared their own methods of communicating with the "unseen ones," and some told the stories of others being persecuted for their psi abilities. I discovered that there ARE people who "hear voices" rather than thought forms who have the psi abilities and ARE NOT schizophrenic. Could that guest on the Dr. Phil show need to get off the medications (which don't seem to be helping a lot anyway) and learn to fine tune her psi abilities? It would seem so.

One group member wrote, "Part of the definition of schizophrenia in the dictionary says, 'illogical patterns of thinking, delusions, and hallucinations, and accompanied in varying degrees by other emotional, behavioral, or intellectual disturbances'." She continued: "This could easily apply to those with psi abilities. In my own instance, if others don't see or hear what I am seeing when I've had visions, then it could be said I was hallucinating. Were I to insist it was real other-worldly contact, many would consider that a delusion. Were I a person who had no knowledge or training, and didn't know what was happening to me, I would most likely become emotionally and intellectually disturbed as I'd think I was going nuts. I wouldn't be surprised to find that many who are diagnosed with mental illness are really experiencing manifestation of psi abilities...."

NOT hearing voices, but communicating with the other realms, I Am Angel-Light. I Am That I Am. My Love Work is supported by some of those I assist and by others who want to donate on behalf of those who are unable to do so.

ON RELIGION & SPIRITUALITY

ON RELIGION & SPIRITUALITY
January 19, 2006

The following are quotes on the subject of religion and spirituality that I've selected from my collection for this blog.

Walter Starke: When the spirit in which you live is more important than the results of your living, then you are spiritual. When the results are more important than how you go about getting them, you are material.

Deng Ming-Dao: Religion and spirituality, although related, are not synonymous. Religion is the creation of people and cultures. Spirituality is the direct relationship with Tao [God/Divine].

Paramahansa Yogananda: The true basis of religion is not belief, but intuitive experience. Intuition is the soul's power of knowing God. To know what religion is really all about, one must know God.

Susan Shumsky: A mind that thinks too much, that ruminates ad infinitum, is too noisy to hear God's voice.

Henry Drummond: The final test of religion . . . is not religiousness, but love.

B. Venkataswamy: You don't have to be a religious person to serve God. You serve God by serving humanity.

Carl Jung: Rationalism and doctrinarism are the diseases of our time.

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin: We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.

The Quaker Reader: A religious wakening which does not awaken the sleeper to love has roused him in vain.

Thomas Hora, M.D.: All problems are psychological, and all solutions are spiritual.

Carol Parrish: Religion is a belief system. Spirituality is a value system.

Judge Samuel James Irvin, Jr.: Political freedom cannot exist in any land where religion controls the state, and religious freedom cannot exist in any land where the state controls religion.

Unknown: Do you know the difference between someone who is religious and someone who is spiritual? The religious person is afraid of going to hell. The spiritual person has already been through hell.

Being spiritual, I Am Angel-Light. I Am That I Am. Thank you for supporting my ministry.

MY INSPIRATION

MY INSPIRATION
January 12, 2006

I am very fortunate to receive the e-mail newsletter of lightworker Mark David Gerson (previously known as Agnaton Ben-Isha), a "traveling angel" with no home. I have continued to be amazed at how I resonate with this loving man's words. Mark David began his travels around the country after a major life change--opening portals and running grids, in addition to his preexisting lightwork. Mark has scheduled teleconferences, and gives workshops wherever called.

I confess that I've had some trust issues this century, perhaps a main cause of the difficulties I've experienced. It has seemed that my work has shut down, and my needs haven't been met as well as they had been in the first decade of my ministry. Life wasn't "a bed of roses," and there were challenges, but life was productive and satisfying. During the last two or three years, I felt my life was over and had little hope. Nevertheless, I've managed to be somewhat productive. Mark David Gerson's sharing of his innermost thoughts and feelings has inspired me and given me newfound hope (and tears came as I wrote that sentence). Read the following words (excerpts) and maybe you'll want to learn more about this precious man.

Mark David Gerson, Thursday, January 5, 2006, Benton, Arizona: ". . . Even after a year during which my financial needs have always been met, doubts and insecurities still bubble up. They bubble up now in particular, at a time with few known income opportunities on the horizon. . . . This is my first hotel experience in 12 days, my first night back on the road after a dozen nights in the same town. A pall of weariness settles over me. How much longer will this go on? Where will I go from here? And from there? And from there? And then I realize that I have fallen out of the moment in the same way I did an hour ago, over the cost of the room. Once again, I seek control over the uncontrollable. There is no tomorrow. There is no moment beyond this one. There is only now--this moment on a journey whose parameters, dimensions, and extent I may never fully know or understand. All I can do is trust in this moment of that journey, surrrender to the higher power that drives it, and reassure in loving embrace all parts of me that feel frightened and insecure. All I can do is move forward, whatever that means, on the path I chose long ago. All I can be is the journey--day by day, moment by moment, breath by breath."

Mark David Gerson, Sunday, January 8, 2005, Santa Fe, New Mexico: ". . . You either trust or you do not. There is no halfway in between. . . . Rather, faith creates holiness, wholeness, oneness. . . . If yesterday I was reminded that I am supported, today I am reminded that without faith and the trust and surrender it engenders, there is nowhere to channel that support. And so, once again I surrender to the journey, to the uncertainty, to the unknowingness. . ."

And so do I, Mark David Gerson. You are my inspiration to return to the faith, trust, and surrender that were once mine, to make every effort to "keep the faith."
