When I arrived at the library door this morning, I was right behind a group of about 15 children (around ages 4 & 5) and two teachers. They formed one long line in front of the door. A teacher said, "Someone wanted to sing. What do you want to sing?" A child responded, "God Bless America." And so they did. Guess who had to get a tissue out to wipe the tears in her eyes? Tears forming again as I write.
And then the teacher said, "Let's count together." They began with one . When they reached a certain number over 50 (that certain number being my "magic number," which the Divine uses to reassure and remind me), the teacher noticed a library employee coming to unlock the door. She said loudly, "Okay, we counted from one to ____ [my magic number], and now the doors are opening!" My magic number! Then, "The doors are opening." A coincidence? I think not. It was a message from the Divine for me. What a wonderful way to begin the day!
If you are open to receiving Divine input in unusual ways, keep all your senses wide open and pay attention to what is going on in your environment and the areas you drive through. It's fun to start out to go somewhere and ask the Divine for input concerning a particular matter and then open to input in unusual ways. If you're skeptical, keep a notebook handy to record what may be Divine input.
