ANGER HARMS THE ANGRY ONE
follower called recently—to rant and rave and ask me if he/she could curse
someone, giving a wee bit background information (all I would allow).I responded, “I can’t support you in that.”He/She wasn’t going to give up easily, and more
than once asked, “Why not?”I counseled
that what he/she sends out may possibly hurt the other person, but it will
definitely hurt his/her own person—in one way or another, sooner or later.
are three steps we suggest for remedying anger: neutralize, transmute/transform,
and ascend.Throughout, one is to consciously
breathe deeply, using the full trunk of the body with emphasis on the
abdomen.First, affirm, “I Am [name]. I
Am the I Am that I Am.In the name of
Christ [or the Light], I [name] decree I Am neutralizing all negativity and
anger that me and mine have created and are creating—now.”Next: “I Am [name]. I Am the I Am that I Am.
In the name of Christ [or the Light], I [name] decree I Am transmuting and
transforming all anger this my embodiment is carrying into love--now.”And then:“I Am [name]. I Am the I Am that I Am.In the name of Christ [or the light], I [name] decree I Am ascending
into higher consciousness, ascending into higher love—for the duration—now.”Each decree/affirmation is to be stated three
times, slowly and clearly, with focus on the heart center or the high heart
area (above the heart). This isn’t
something one rushes.Pausing for a
minute or two between each of the three decrees/affirmations is helpful.
may also find it beneficial to quiet the mind and calm self before beginning the
decrees/affirmations.This can be
accomplished by taking slow, deep breaths, in through the nose, filling the
body’s trunk, and out through the mouth, repeating silently, “quiet-mind” and “at-ease”
and “peace-calm,” the first word or syllable when inhaling and the last when
longer anger and rage is held (and any negative emotion for that matter), the
more it harms the holder.So forgiveness
is in order. This can be difficult in some situations.Forgiving is about forgiving the perpetrator,
not the “crime.”Failure to forgive and
holding negative emotion about anyone will negatively impact one’s health and
no ill feelings toward any person.Rise
above. Ascend into higher consciousness; ascend into higher love. Strive to come
from love at all times, with all people, in all situations.
