MOST BENEVOLENT OUTCOME PRAYER

I have made a
decision to share with readers but, first, I’ll share some background information.
The basic
Most Benevolent Outcome Prayer developed by Tom T. Moore and his team is quite
simple: “I request a most benevolent
outcome for ________, and may the outcome be better than I could hope for or
expect.” Tom T. Moore is the author of

During my
usual, long, tub bath this morning, while ruminating about “the apartment
manager from hell” (who took over the small apartment community where I live in
autumn 2012), I had an aha. By the way,
in case you’re wondering, this general opinion of the manager is also that of
many long-time residents, many of whom are intimidated by her and afraid they’ll
get evicted if they speak up. I have prayed for this woman and removed and
banished some of the demons (yes, actual demons) she brought with her, and she
seems to have improved However, she
continues to be a detriment to the wellbeing of this property, a senior citizen
community, and its residents. We deserve
better! Actually, we had better before
she took over.
Now I don’t
want harm to come to anyone because of me. So, it occurred to me, during my
bath, to use my modified Most Benevolent Outcome Prayer. Here’s what I decided on (with my usual
statement of being and intro before these words): “I Am requesting a most benevolent outcome
for a wonderful new apartment manager for [name of our community] with good to
all concerned and no harm to any, and may the outcome be better than we all could
hope for or expect. Thank you!”
