A house/pet sitting gig ended May 30th, but I've not had enough privacy, solitude, and quiet for down time from then until this morning. Finally! Relief! For my health and wellbeing, quality and quantity meditation time (deep alpha and theta consciousness) is required. All aspects of the life suffer to some degree when it is lacking. Those who haven't been in the habit of meditating don't know what they're missing. Most importantly, it is during such quiet times that equilibrium is restored and the still, small voice of the Divine can penetrate and reach its destination clearly.

The first step to entering meditative consciousness is to focus on the breath. Begin by taking a few slow, deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth. Then, during several slow, deep breaths, say silently to yourself "Quiet Mind"--"quiet" on the in-breath and "mind" on the out-breath. After a few more deep breaths, begin saying silently to yourself "At Ease"--"at" on the in-breath and "ease" on the out-breath. After a few more deep breaths, say silently to yourself "Re-lax"--"re" on the in-breath and "lax" on the out-breath. Beginning is as simple as that.
Many times over the years people who come into my life to receive assistance and input from the Angel-Light team are necessarily coached in proper breathing and instructed to practice for a period of time before we proceed further.
