A few weeks ago, the writings of Itzhak Bentov (8-9-1923 to 5-25-1979) came to my attention. Called Ben, his two books are: “Stalking the Wild Pendulum: On the Mechanics of Creation” (1977) and “A Brief Tour of Higher Consciousness: A Cosmic Book on the Mechanics of Creation” (2000).  He died before the completion of “A Brief Tour” by his wife and a friend of similar consciousness to his own.  Because of the title and smaller size of “A Brief Tour,”  I chose to read it first.

“A Brief Tour” includes five parts and sixteen main chapters. Some titles are: “Rudimentary and Higher Consciousness,” “The Devas,” “Meeting Your Higher Self,” “The Cosmos.”  Bentov comments in the introduction: “So this book is about souls, angels, and much more.”

“Stalking” includes ten chapters and a sizeable appendix  I confess to reading The appendix titled, “the Physio-kundalini Syndrome” first.  Another section of the appendix is titled, “What is a Hologram? ”Some chapter titles include: “Sound, Waves and Vibration,” “An Experiment With Time,” “Quantity and Quality of Consciousness,” “The How to” of Intuitive Knowledge,” “Relative Realities.”  All chapters end with a summary section.

My favorite of all the ten chapters is “Relative Realities,” with headings of “Mineral reality,” “The plant reality,” “The animal reality,” “The human reality,” “Particle-wave duality,” “The construction and maintenance of a nature spirit,” “More on individuation,” “The communications gap,” “The astral realities,” “The mental reality,” “The causal (intuitive) reality,” “The creative process,” “The other bodies,” “Putting it all together,” “The brain,” “An experiment with the brain,” “Summary.” 

As I was reading these Bentov books, I marked information in both that I felt might be good to include I this review, and I’ll share some of them here (not differentiated by book).

“We have here, then, two entities. One is the relatively low, rudimentary consciousness, which runs the body, and the other is the psyche, a higher-level entity, which uses the body most of the time as a focus but is independent of it. . . . If the consciousness running the body leaves it, the body dies.”

“The higher self is the ‘spirit within us,’ and being part of the Creator, the higher selves are all connected and communicating with each other. It is the business of the Higher self to put the personality through the experiences of life and interactions with others, thereby gaining knowledge and learning to know itself. The higher self cannot effectively interact with a physical body that has not been properly developed. It communicates, therefore, with the psyche or the soul.”  “The higher self is the spiritual us. It communicates to us through the soul or psyche because it cannot effectively interact with a material body.  All higher selves are connected and in constant communication.”

“We have to keep in mind that Creation is a big hologram.”  “There is no limit to the extent of human consciousness. It can expand to fill the universe, and then you can talk to the Creator.”

I intend to re-read these books as time permits.

I had been seeking inspiration for a another blog article for several days, and received that this morning. As a now-mostly-retired Agent of the Light Force of Archangel Michael, I disagreed with a friend’s comment on Facebook to a meme I had posted.  He/She had commented that Archangel Michael is a peaceful warrior. I was anointed by Michael (given some of his energy) and given a sword and shield in the 1980s. A few years later, I was also presented with an Emerald Cross by Archangel Michael during a private session with a spiritual energy healer who was facilitating my wellbeing. Several times during my active years, Michael told me, "Take up the sword I have given you and never put it down!"  Some awake and aware people recognized me over the years as "a Michael," just as I recognized some other Michaels (who carry his energy).

Michael the archangel is described in the Bible, in the books of Daniel, Jude, and Revelation, as a warrior angel who engages in spiritual combat. The word archangel means “angel of the highest rank.” Most angels in the Bible are portrayed as messengers, but Michael is described in all three books as contending, fighting, or standing against evil spirits and principalities (Daniel 10:13; 21; Jude 1:9; Revelation 12:7). We do not have a full picture of any angel, and only two are named in the Bible (Gabriel is the other). Scripture only gives us hints of their movements during human events, but it is safe to say that Michael the archangel is a powerful being. (Source: www . heavenonwheels . org)

As far as the “contending, fighting, or standing against evil spirits, and principalities” etc. aspect of my ministry/mission, been there, done that, on this battlefield/in this war zone, and have been a target of what those who are labeled by some as “Team Dark,” which refers to those “Anti-Christ” beings who work through like-minded humans to achieve their goals (as do Archangel Michael, his angels, and others of what is often referred to as Team Light). I’m mostly retired from this aspect of my ministry, but still a target.  I’ll need a time of respite and healing after I return to “heavenly home.” Since the human body is at this writing 80 years young, that will probably be sooner rather than later. 

Archangel Michael has been known to speak through human persons, some many times. However, as far as I know Archangel Michael has spoken through my person only once in the 1990s, in an email to a friend, as follows: “The vast majority of those units of consciousness in human embodiment have not an inkling of their origins, their multidimensionality, and so on.  Those who do cannot (and would not want to) ignore the nonhuman and/or universal aspects of their beingness.  I am a universal being. I dwell in many universes, in many forms. To project upon me only humanness is to visit limitations upon me. I am an unlimited being. One is not to ignore and shut one’s self off from one’s multidimensionality once one becomes awakened to it. One is to accept the increased responsibilities that accompany that awareness. It will assist your understanding if you will regard/think of Angel-Light as an expanded spiritual being rather than a mere human embodiment. Indeed, I am she and I am Michael. You would not restrict me to a mere human form and its accompanying limitations, now would you?  Then do not so to Angel-Light. We are satisfied with the service of this one.  We recognize and appreciate the sacrifices made. Refrain from mundane guidances to this one. They are not required nor deserved.”

I recognized other Michaels by their energetic presence when out and about during the traveling angel years (yes, my mission has been a dual purpose mission).  Serving as what is called “a Michael” isn’t for the faint of heart, and makes one a target of the hijackers controlling this planet. They want all “Michaels” out of commission or, at the least, severely limited in their activities.  A cosmic international healer/teacher told a group of us attending one of his gatherings that when we don’t stay In one place they can’t “get a fix” on us.

There is so much more general information on this subject and so many more personal experiences, but this is not meant to be a book.

[Preface: Make sure you read the title correctly.]

While enjoying Facebook this morning, I thought of increasing my light (raising my vibration), did so, had an uplifting experience, and then returned to my Facebook feed on screen and found a meme with the words: “Right before we move to a new, higher frequency, there is always a tower moment to remove everything and everyone whose vibrations are not a match to where we are going. If a lot is crumbling right now, you are making space for more light to enter. Trust this.”

Self-thoughts and self-talk can increase your wellbeing or do the opposite. Intentional positive statements and affirmations can do a lot of good. Some suggestions for a jump start (when desiring to raise your vibration) follow.

I prefer to “I Am” and I know others who prefer “I.’  To each his/her own preference for beginning, but an ending is always appropriate—just “now” or something more, such as “across/throughout creation” or “on a full a permanent basis now.” Other endings may occur to the reader.

“I Am tuning into and turning up my inner light—Now.” And/Or “I optimize my higher  light—Now.”

Try these suggestions and others that may come to mind. And then sense the shift!

I have gained more clarity in communion with my Divine Support Team recently as this life continues to slow down.  A "group soul" is a higher-level, collective consciousness or singular "spirit" that breaks into smaller fragments to gain experience.  The Angel-Light Collective is a group soul, and there are 12 of us assigned to this human body-mind unit to assist humanity.  For comfort and ease of other people, we mostly use the pronoun “I.” Ours is not a unique arrangement.  There have been and are other collectives/group souls on mission to assist humanity while, at the same time growing as soul(s). Of course, the mission has been gradually coming to a close as the body ages.

On the other hand, "soul group" is a collection of individual, distinct souls that share a similar frequency and incarnate together to learn lessons, acting as a "family."  I am not part of a soul group.  Some sensitives recognized that after I awoke in this life (as a walk-in). 

Our Divine Support Team (what some call “angels” and “guides”) is for personal support. The number of light operatives on our team fluctuates depending on need.

Since we began using the term “Angel-Light Collective” several years ago, I have been happily surprised to discover others also using the term regarding their spiritual assistants.  The most accurate  definition/description I discovered (years ago) was that of Clive Shane Herrington, a spiritual healer and teacher, whose son eventually joined his dad’s mission.  In Herrington’s “Self-Healing Handbook: The Advanced Handbook of Soul Transformation,” he describes thusly: A soul collective is a team of beings that together have a specific mission. As part of their mission, they all have different skills and qualities that are needed at particular times. In this regard, they can consciously exchange.  They use one human vehicle as a focal point within this reality, with the one being most suited to mission requirements at a particular time occupying the body.

Related are these words of Esther Hicks/Abraham from August 1999:  Abraham is not a singular consciousness as you feel that you are in singular bodies. Abraham is collective consciousness. There is a stream or river of consciousness. As one of you asks a question, there are many, many points of consciousness that are funneling through what feels to be one perspective (because there is, in this case, one human, Esther, who is interpreting or articulating it), so it appears singular to you. We are multidimensional and multi-faceted and, certainly, multi-consciousness. 

Although we are committed to Christ Consciousness and dedicated to Christ Service, these words of wisdom from Dr. Brugh Joy are appropriate to include: There are states or levels of consciousness unavailable to even the most gifted [spiritual] teacher when he or she is operating in the logical, conditioned, outer-mind portion of awareness. You can't always identify even a great [spiritual] teacher when that person is in ordinary awareness. Furthermore, no embodied [spiritual] teacher remains in expanded states [of consciousness] for indefinite periods of time. Appreciate them when they are and appreciate them when they are not. [Note: I added the word “spiritual” because his book where I found this years ago was a spiritual book.]

This is a review of “Finding Purpose—Stories of the Afterlife That Inspire,” published by the Michael Newton Institute in 2024. Some readers may be familiar with Dr. Newton (12/9/31 – 9/21/2016), through his books: “Journey of Souls” and “Destiny of Souls” and “Life Between Lives.” 

“Finding Purpose” is a collection of true first-hand accounts of real people’s hypnotherapy sessions submitted by approximately forty trained Life Between Lives (LBL) facilitators. The editors Sanela Covic and Elizabeth Lockhart (also LBL facilitators) inform us: “As you journey through these pages, you will encounter a rich variety of perspectives and experiences. . . . Some stories may challenge you, while others may comfort and reassure you, but all are intended to inspire and provoke deep thought. The diversity of the authors’ voices reflects the multifaceted nature of spirituality—how it transcends boundaries and resonates within us in unique ways. . . . you will discover new ways of viewing the world and perhaps new ways of seeing yourself.”

Each of the eight chapters of “Finding Purpose” has both an introduction and conclusion, and the contents list each session between by descriptive name. Chapter headings are: Freedom & Free Will; Learning through Relationships; Understanding Loss, Grief, Pain & Suffering; Healing; Connection & Oneness; Guides & Advanced Beings; Divine Guidance; Healing the Earth.  I enjoy reading and learn from the experiences of others between lives.  Personally, “Healing the Earth” touched my heart the most. In my opinion, it’s a most important subject.

I do want to share some information presented by co-editor Elizabeth Lockhart, included in the chapter “Divine Guidance.”  These are her terms; some of mine have been different terms. Clairvoyance is a clear sense of vision, i.e., psychic sight. Clairgustance is a clear sense of taste, i.e., being able to detect psychic information orally. Clairsalience is a clear sense of smell, i.e., the ability to detect psychic information nasally. Clairaudience is a clear sense of hearing, i.e., the ability to detect psychic information through the ears. Claircognizance is a clear sense of knowing, i.e., psychic insight. Clairsentience is a clear sense of feeling, i.e., the ability to detect psychic information through your body. Clairempathy is a clear sense of emotional feeling, i.e. detecting psychic information through your emotions. Clairtangency is a clear sense of touch, i.e., the ability to detect psychic information through your hands.

Elizabeth adds: “Learning to connect with and trust our soul’s guidance and wisdom is crucial to living a soul-guided existence.”  Yes!

I have been asking for inspiration for a new blog article for several days now.  Today, on Facebook, someone posted that she isn’t sure we humans have souls and wondered how we know we have a soul. 

When I was responding to her post, I realized that I had found my inspiration. Here’s my short response:  

A way to find out for yourself is to PRETEND and ACT AS IF you are a soul being hosted by a human body-mind unit and, most importantly, make your body your partner. Ask your body's opinion about what to eat, etc. If you stub your toe, apologize to your body. Tell your body "thank you," "I'm sorry," etc. Praise your body. Ask your body to unclog/decongest your bowels (if needed). Ask your body to "release and clear" something or other--the cause of the pain in an elbow, for example. Over time, with practice, you'll more often receive an answer in some way to your questions. 

One of the ways to intentionally get your body's response is to hold a food you want to try, for example, next to your solar plexus. Then close your eyes, take a deep breath, instruct your body to learn forward if it wants to answer yes to your questions, backward if no, and to stay still if there is not an answer. Often the movement is strong, but just as often, the movement is light internal movement, with most answers in between. Then ask a question, for example, "Do you want this?" or "Is this safe?" Have your consciousness inside your body, and pay attention. Just a few suggestions of many. 

I love and appreciate my 80-years-young body and tell it so.

In a conversation recently, it occurred to me to recommend the reclaiming of something perceived as missing, such as peace.  Let’s keep this simple. 

Speaking the word is powerful—even more powerful after you have practiced it for weeks. Start each affirmation statement with “I Am [your name].”  Then, “And I reclaim my ________.”  End with, “throughout creation—Now” or, if preferred, “on a full and permanent basis—Now.”  Emphasis this by adding, “Word I Am Word.”  

Here are some suggestions to fill in the blank: wellness and wellbeing (highly recommended to cover a lot of territory}, balance, strength, wholeness, power, peace, joy and happiness, lightness, clarity, positivity. We recorded about 25 items before we ended the conversation.  She felt wonderful after making the affirmation for each one.  If you want to give it a try, speak aloud slowly and clearly and with as much strength as you can muster. Be sure to take deep breaths between each affirmation statement, and even between your name and the affirmation statement if you feel the need.

Later it occurred to me that people are comfortable using “I Am reclaiming” for some items on the list we made than “I reclaim.” However, “I reclaim” is recommended if you are reasonably at ease with it.

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT reclaim anything negative.

“Soul Design: A Regressionist’s Guide to Past Lives, Origins & Purpose”” (Llewellyn, 2025) is the latest of four books by Dr. Linda Backman. “Soul Essence Psychology” (SEP), on which “Soul Design” and Dr. Backman’s other books are based, is the mode to illuminate our soul design based on past lives, soul origin, archetype, and life purpose. “Soul Design” was, for me, very thought-provoking, and I chose to put aside my knowledge about soul origins so as to be open to new information. I had to close this book and ruminate quite a few times as I was reading. Fortunately, it occurred to me to place brackets around sentences I might want to include in a “book report,” so it was not difficult for me to create this blog.

The following are excerpts that will surely arouse the reader’s interest.

Your incarnate soul is a fragment, a sliver, of the totality of your divine energy or Higher Self (HS).  Souls embodied on earth dwell at a higher frequency called the spiritual realm, while our human self is our embodied soul on earth. When we begin a new incarnation, we contain a holographic slice of the totality of our soul energy.  The challenge for souls is to function within a human culture, holding fast to our trust that we are souls having a human experience.   It is easy for incarnate souls  to become caught up in emotions and pain in response to the human behavior around them.

Consider three possibilities of your soul origin and where your Higher Self exists. Ninety to ninety-five percent of humanity consists of Earth-Based Souls (EBS) who begin their gradual journey to evolve on earth as young souls at the kindergarten stage of development. EBS incarnate over and over evolving on earth. Currently, most of these incarnated EBS are moderately evolved, meaning they’ve gained a mid-range level of soul development. The Higher Self (HS) of Earth-Based Souls is always in the spiritual energy tied to our soul origin.  For EBS, the HS resides in the earth’s spiritual realm at an energetic frequency beyond our planet. EBS work together in soul pods and select souls to serve in upcoming life roles. The EBS soul originates in and resides at an energetic frequency tied to the earth’s spiritual realm. EBS become highly familiar with life in an earth body because of their nearly exclusive terrestrial incarnation.

On the other hand, Inter-Planetary Souls (IPS) and Angelic-Realm Souls (ARS) have not had most of their lives on earth.  Most IPS and ARS know/sense they are different than most people on earth.

Inter-Planetary Souls, come from a location in the vast celestial realm, where their Higher Self resides, such as a planet, star, interdimensional energy, or spacecraft. Approximately one to two percent of humans are IPS.  IPS souls appear to have amassed significant soul knowledge before embodying on earth. IPS are not designed for life on earth and often grapple with health and emotion-based challenges. Coping with living within the human body and facing unwholesome human behavior can be troubling for them. Often IPS are entirely caught off-guard by the way humans function. Life on earth is, in many ways, utterly opposite to life at an IPS home. IPS souls often struggle with being on earth and assimilating sufficiently to satisfy the goals of their life blueprint.

Angelic Realm Souls (ARS) begin and remain in the setting where angels support the high frequency known as God and Source, in the energetic realm.  ARS convey a deep and genuine energy of love and compassion for all living things, almost to a fault. ARS must be cautious not to give so much of themselves that they deplete their resources. ARS are only one to two percent of humanity. ARS must embrace their core of gentleness and caring while not viewing self as too soft.  Some ARS are guided by any archangel, while others receive support from another ARS. ARS are cautioned to be sure to care for themselves and not give all their energy away. ARS are highly unique in their nature and approach to life. Although all experienced souls are generally sensitive to energy and emotion, an ARS is the most sensitive and caring type of person.

Advanced souls, such as IPS, always arrive in body to advance humanity. At the same time, unevolved souls can intrude into human life to do their toxic work and delay the progress of earthly culture.  To function with instinctive awareness of how to aid others, a human person must be relatively porous energetically, which can lead to an impact from low-level, unhealthy forces. However, even the most advanced soul is not without blemish.

We always have a primary or lead spiritual guide who is ever present. It is a misunderstanding to assume that your primary guide must be a soul separate from your own soul. Our primary guide is always more evolved than we are currently. It is common for an IPS to have a guide from the home location, often in non-humanoid form. When your Soul/Higher Self is your lead guide, then it is a sure thing you are an IPS or ARS.

Keep communing with your Higher Self (HS), give it a name, and [as you read this book] be open to ascertaining if you are an Earth-Based Soul  (EBS), an Inter-Planetary Soul (IPS), or an Angelic Realm Soul (ARS).

I consider my body my partner and counsel others to do the same—to express appreciation to the body, to thank the body for hosting you,  express love for the body, to apologize to the body for stubbing your toe or bumping into something, etc.  I also advise asking the body for what is wanted.  To put something we are not sure of whether to purchase (such as a book) or to make a choice between two similar items (t-shirts, for example) up against or very close to the solar plexus, and asking the body if it wants [whatever]. If the body moves, even slightly inside, toward the object, it's a yes. If body moves backward, it's a no. If there is no movement, body isn't sure or doesn't know. (Maybe you need to buy both t-shirts!  Ha-ha!) Other types of muscle-testing are available, too, but I like this the best. It’s easy and one doesn’t need assistance to do it.

If there is a pain, one can instruct the body to clear, release, heal, or whatever one senses is needed.  Release seems to be an important word.  "Body, please release and clear all inflammation now.  Thank you."  Thank you is always important—especially in advance.  "Body, please restore the blood pressure to normal range now. Thank you."  To cover possibilities, I ask the body to dissolve any and all blood clots in a safe and healthy way. And, I ask the body to disintegrate and dissolve any and all stones (gall bladder and kidney). I instruct my body to relax sometimes. Lots of other things. 

Programming the body is "easier" than one might think.  Over and over, aloud or silently:  "strong body, healthy well"; "center, balance"; and lots of others that don't come to mind at the moment.

Lately, the more progress I make on my ascension/raising my vibration, the more challenges that seem to arise.  I understand from high-level spiritual teachers over the years that this is normal. Whew!

I'm very aware that I don't "know it all" and I'm still exploring, learning, etc.  However, there was another post on Facebook this morning that I refrained from commenting on—despite knowing I could suggest some ways for the poster to address his issues.  There was just too big a gap between what I wanted to suggest and where he was in his knowledge. That happens to me more often these days. I can "see" where he is, even why he is where he is. I just don't want to have to explain in detail, as would be required.   Maybe you have similar experiences.  For me, I suspect it is age-related. Weary, tired.  These days I’ve been focusing on my own evolving/ascension rather than tackle complicated issues for someone else.

 A Healing Facilitator whose reality is close to my own posted some suggestions on Facebook recently that I also shared, and I need to be reminding myself of these often.   No. 6 about choices/options becoming more limited I’ve read elsewhere in recent weeks.   

 According to Alex Martin Bee (clarityhypnosis.eu):  During one session of Healing Soul Journey, the Higher Self gave the following advice to the subject:

1. Go within and open your heart to prepare for ascension.

2. Balance logic and emotion, responding to life situations from a heart-centered perspective.

3. Deal with past mistakes by looking at them, handling the associated emotions, and forgiving yourself.

4. Focus on the question "How well have I loved?" as a measure of spiritual growth.

5. Be careful when asking for ET assistance or intervention, as it may lead to unintended consequences.

6. Continue on your spiritual path, as choices [options] are becoming more limited as ascension approaches.

7. Use visualization to connect with the "Internet of Life" and access universal information.

8. Practice connecting to both heaven and earth, using yourself as a conduit for information flow.

9. Use breath work to bring spiritual information through and bring it to life.

10. Be patient with people and work on being more heart-based in your interactions.

11. If you can't handle a situation, back off and take a deep breath to realign yourself.

12. Be open to making major life decisions as you approach spiritual crossroads.

 

I don't always agree with Alex on everything, but close. Of all the healing facilitators "putting stuff out there" I've come across, his reality is very similar to mine. 

 

Alex also shared recently an image of a "devil with horns" with this caption on it: "DON’T GO TO THE LIGHT WHEN YOU DIE. IT’S A TRAP.”  He commented above the image:  “We [he and others] found that Home is Light and Source is Light. There is no incarnational loop, anyone chooses to come back to grow and evolve on this difficult school. [I disagree a wee bit with the previous sentence. It's true, but there are also other reasons individuals incarnate here.] Spiritual warfare is real and is raging right now on all channels. This is what I [Alex] found in over 1000 sessions of Healing Soul Journeys. Listen to your intuition. Dark forces like to invert and use false egos ...  to sow confusion and trap souls in lower astral after their body dies. We found that Home is Light and Source is Light. There is no incarnational loop, anyone chooses to come back to grow and evolve on this difficult school.”

I generally agree with the previous paragraph, except where inserted in brackets. I know what makes me suspicious and what feels right.  As I continue to explore and practice, "the light is a trap" absolutely does NOT ring true to me..  I've never completely agreed with that.  When I don't agree, I look for reasons I can find to agree. Sometimes I find them; sometimes I don't.   I think it's a situation-related thing and that there are times when the light can be a trap.  So, one is required to discern each situation as to its merits. (As Alex wrote, "listen to your intuition.”)
