In a few days we'll have the special day set aside for Love. May all have at least one kiss on Valentine's Day--from a significant other, from a child, from a family member, from a friend.

I was blessed with a kiss from a houseplant the other night. I was sleeping near the plant and brushed against one of its leaves when I turned over in bed. There was a burst of light as the leaf connected with my cheek. What a gift!

I love to grow things. I talk to plants. I caress their energy fields--and their leaves when it would not be harmful. I asked them what they want and try to provide it. My current lifestyle does not permit having plants of my own, so I have to Love the plants of others when I am around them.

Loving plants and animals and little children is easy for me. It's the adults that are somewhat of a challenge. Nevertheless, I try to send Love to those people around the world who are creating chaos and causing harm to others, for I know that feeling anger at their acts solves nothing and only feeds the causes of such people as these. Sending Love is like medicine to their Souls. There's a song coming to mind as I wrote this: "With a little Love, we can work it out...." Let's focus on sending lots of Love to those who need it most.

Had a memory come up last night that I want to share with you. I first became aware that I was apparently going to have a healing ministry while on vacation (alone, in a van) in the summer of 1987.

I stopped at a full-service rest stop on I20 in Alabama just over the border from Meridian, Mississippi. I opened the side door of the van and settled in for a nice, quiet lunch.

About the time I finished eating, I heard a car backfiring (or so I thought). I continued, closed the van door, got in the driver's seat, etc. As I drove from the parking spot, I passed directly in front of the rest stop building. To say I was shocked to see an Alabama State Trooper holding a gun over a man reclining on the sidewalk with blood running out of his chest is an understatement!!! You see, I do not watch violent movies or programs of any sort (and often get teased for my sensitivity). And then I heard urgently delivered words in my mind: "Heal him! Heal him!" Now that really put me into shock! Why would anyone tell me, of all people, to heal the man?!?!?!

The next thing I remember is being on I-20 and coming to my senses, thinking I'd better turn around and try to do something for the man. The problem was that there was no exit or turnaround spot for several miles (that I could determine). By then I knew all I could do was pray for the man, and I did so. Suffice it to say that I had a lot of questions after that, and I came to realize that I obviously had a "healing ability/gift" and was to use it in this world.

And we the Angel-Light Collective have used it in this world.  We came into this body, this world to heal, to teach, to counsel, to advise, to guide, to optimize the wellbeing of those who are willing and able to receive. This is our life's work, our mission, our bliss.
