Recently, during a combination active and passive meditation (which most of my meditations are), I was unexpectedly surprised with a "head shot" of a male Buddhist monk on my mind screen. Spirit managed to get one word in edgewise during my rapid questioning: "Penniless." I was also given to understand that this is/was one of my many lives and that the "penniless" input was relevant to my current financial challenges (although I'm certainly not "penniless").

After I dissolved the cords and connections between that life and this one, I asked to be shown other of my lives where I was/am "penniless" and "poor" that are negatively impacting this life. I was shown ten or so all at once (rather than individually), which meant that I could dissolve the cords and connections between those lives and this life all at once, which I proceeded to do.

Several months ago, when reflecting on this life and some of its themes of sacrifice and insufficiency, I was given, "You had to learn to live without." I responded that as far as I was concerned, I had learned the lesson and was ready to move on. Guess those ten or so other lives weren't enough! It's more likely, however, that living in a space-time such as this in a capitalist country with many young souls who are engaged in service to self and the widespread greed and materialism is alien to me and so unlike home where all needs are provided. Don't fit in and don't relate to it all.

Many people on the spiritual path don't realize how other of their lives can be negatively impacting their present lives, and many won't even entertain the idea that this could possibly be the case. I don't sense there is a problem with dissolving the cords and connections to who one was/is in other lives which are negatively impacting the current life. My reality is that if they are important for spiritual growth in this life, there will remain cords and connections. So why not explore and make some changes?

Recently, a supporter who had removed himself/herself from the business world several years ago while he/she lived off savings and explored spirituality wrote that he/she had exhausted his/her savings and was wondering how to proceed in this materialistic world. His/Her guidance was: "Focus on serving others and you will be happy."

One can focus on service no matter what profession one is in. It's about where one is "coming from" and conscious intent. Some of the decisions of one focusing on service in a business environment might not be acceptable to those who are greedy and focusing on getting and service to self. However, there is a center point where one can be balanced and benefit the business organization while serving.  One person focused on service in a company (whether large or small) can make a huge impact for the better. I have counseled people over the years not to throw their whole "spiritual package" out there (and I might say "to the wolves") but to feed business associates a teaspoon or cupful at a time depending on how much they can accept without terminating an association, which can stretch their awareness and expand their consciousness just enough to allow them to remain in one's association. 

There is a difference between selling one's soul down river by returning to the business world and serving as a "divine implant" in the business world to awaken those asleep. It's how one thinks and feels about it.  If it is approached from an attitude of service as well as a mission to plant seeds of enlightenment, then the world is a better place. It's a choice and up to the individual contemplating choices in expectation of making a decision. Often, there is no right nor wrong, but just a choice.

A follower of Tom T. Moore (www.thegentlewaybook.com) recently wrote to ask him for input from his sources:  Can you shed light on a recent encounter, a first for me? While shopping in a hardware store, I rounded a corner and noticed an employee seated on the floor replacing inventory. Her back was to me. I walked by her another 10 feet when I heard her shriek, "Wait! Who are you?" I turned to see her staring at me, exclaiming, "Oh, you are an Angel! Where did you come from? I felt you coming from far away before I saw you! What is your name?" She went on to tell me her body temperature was elevated in my presence, and she seemed enraptured, to the point I thought she might faint! I thanked her, though the whole experience was surreal and somewhat disconcerting! Have others experienced this? Can I expect this to happen often? What was actually happening here, both for her and for me? Any insights would be helpful. Not sure I am ready for strangers spontaneously combusting in my presence! Thank you all.

Tom asked one of his Sources: [Name] experienced an employee of a hardware store suddenly being excited when the person felt her presence. Why did this happen, and will it occur more in the future?

Source Response: First, yes this will happen more in the future, as everyone is raising their vibrational levels, and your Pineal Gland receptor that acts as an antenna is not so closed off. In this case, the employee was doing a rather mundane task and was more open than she would have normally been. She [the questioner] is sending out good vibrations to the world, more than the normal person, so the employee suddenly received it. And as I said at the beginning, more people will experience this in the future as they learn how to not be so closed off to other people. You are not separate, but all connect on a higher level. Good question.

I don’t totally agree with that response.  You see, some adults actually do see angels (and devils for that matter)—working for or through (and overlaying) their human instruments (or, in the case of devils, often abusing their human targets), especially when more receptive as described above.  However, it is far more common that children see the angels. And angels can and do partially occupy human body-mind units so as to work more effectively, but that isn’t as common because of the difficulty of being in a lower-vibration instrument. Occupation is usually only temporary, with overlaying being preferred.   

I shared that story from Tom during a visit with a supporter friend yesterday. Later, I was reminded of something that happened during the 8 1/2 years that I've been planted in this location (rather than living a “traveling angel” lifestyle).  I was walking to the door at a grocery store, and there was a woman pushing a cart with a girl child sitting in the seat who was also headed to the door. The girl stared at me (us) in amazement and pointed at me (us) and said a few times, "Mommy, the angels are coming. The angels are coming." Her mother shushed her, but when they were entering the door in front of me (us), she peeped around the side of her mother to stare in awe at me (us).  Because I haven't been getting out and about as much since I moved here, because of being without an automobile (what I always called “lightmobile”), that type of thing rarely happens often as it once did. Plus, for various reasons, Divine light hasn’t been shining as brightly through my (our) instrument.  Similar memories of the years as a “traveling angel” do come up in my 73-years-young senior mind from time to time.

The average person is unaware that there are angels among us—that it’s not just a religious myth.
