Did you know that the ancient Greeks first used the term “metaphysics” and considered it a branch of philosophy?   The prefix “meta” appears in the Greek, with the meanings: after, along with, beyond, among, behind.  So “metaphysics” would mean beyond physics, which is the branch of science concerned with the nature and properties of matter and energy. Some definitions of “metaphysics”: a branch of philosophy that studies the relationship between mind and matter; a branch of philosophy that deals with the study of nature regarding existence and the universe; the underlying theoretical principles of a subject or field of inquiry.

What is commonly referred to as “metaphysical” in this day and age can be more accurately defined as “occult.”  Here’s what some dictionaries give us about the “occult”:  supernatural, mystical, or magical beliefs, practices, or phenomena; hidden from view; not easily apprehended or understood, not manifest or detectable by clinical methods alone.

And that leads us to the word “psychic”: of or relating to the psyche (the mind, or the deepest thoughts, feelings, or beliefs of a person); psychogenic (having origin in the mind or in a mental condition or process); lying outside the sphere of physical science or knowledge; sensitive to nonphysical or supernatural forces and influences. 

Most, if not all dictionaries define “spiritual” as: relating to or affecting the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things.  That sums it up quite nicely.   We might as well define “religious” so as to differentiate between “spiritual” and “religious”: relating to or manifesting faithful devotion to an acknowledged ultimate reality or deity; having a strong belief in a god or gods.

The words defined above are loosely construed in these times, and there is some overlap in definitions, so we have attempted to include the basic definitions here to lessen confusion.

I'm more focused on wellbeing of the soul and spirit (spiritual) rather than supernatural matters--although clearly separating the two is probably impossible and even undesirable for healing and wellbeing facilitators.  My spiritual gifts aka psychic skills are part of the Angel-Light package. However, I'm unable to teach anyone who is fascinated with the occult aka metaphysical how to be psychic, etc. However, I do recommend establishing and maintaining a strong spiritual connection (with one's soul hierarchy and higher selves) and living as soul in order to be more spiritually attuned and, thus, able to discern in matters of the supernatural (a manifestation or event attributed to some force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature).

I like these words of Margaret Paul, Ph.D.: “If you want to be a spiritual person, then let kindness be your guiding light--kindness toward yourself, toward others, toward animals and toward this beautiful planet that is our home.”

I wasn’t a big fan of affirmations for many years. For one thing, if one is affirming something that isn’t true, then one’s subconsciousness is going to have a big laugh at your expense. You see, we can’t fool our subconscious.  Also, many times self-sabotage begins in the subconscious mind.  Therefore, if one is going to affirm, one cannot affirm something that isn’t true—EXCEPT and UNLESS one is using action verbs (with some exceptions, of course). One’s life may seem stagnant on the surface, but underneath the surface aka behind the scenes, there is a lot going on AND we have the opportunity to affect what is going on via self-talk, including affirming.

Obviously, general affirmations are to be preferred over specific affirmations, but a healthy mix of both is appropriate. Affirmations carry more power if one first affirms, “I Am [your name] and I give thanks that” before adding action verbs and phrases and a closing.  Here are some examples of general affirmations, with emphasis on the “I AM.”

I AM choosing to vibrate at my highest possible frequencies—throughout my totality—now.  I AM circulating freely—throughout my totality—on a full and permanent basis—now.  I AM respecting and appreciating others and others are respecting and appreciating me—now. I AM lightening up and thriving—easily and effortlessly—now. I AM choosing to make this life and this embodiment light and easy and joyful—on a full and permanent basis—now. I AM attracting many powerful, benevolent, high-vibration light beings to support and protect and defend my wellbeing—constantly and consistently—on a full and permanent basis—now. I AM abiding in the vibration of wellbeing—throughout my totality—now. I AM creating only positive, love-based thoughts—throughout my totality—now.  I AM choosing to make the images of my mind beautiful and the thoughts of my mind positive—throughout my totality—now. I AM grounding optimally to the New Earth and to the New Heaven and that my cosmic connectedness and earth groundedness are in perfect balance—throughout my totality—now. I AM becoming more positive and my joy and enthusiasm are increasing—now. I AM appreciating that wonderful things are happening and wonderful days are ahead for me and mine—now. I AM beginning to spend more time with kindred spirits—now. I AM going clear, free and clear of any and all resistance to money and prosperity and abundance—with ease, joy, glory, and permanence—now. I Am supporting other persons as opportunities present themselves and opening to receive support from expected and unexpected sources—now.

These and similar general affirmations enhance one’s vibration and bring more love through. High, healthy vibration and powerful agape love effect change. More specific affirmations can do the same IF one has prepared with general affirmations spoken aloud in the manner described in the second paragraph over days and weeks and months.  Here are some more specific affirmations. You can create your own specific affirmations if you remember not to affirm something that is obviously untrue (such as I Am wealthy and spending freely when you’re actually wondering how you’re going to pay the utility bill). Here are some more specific affirmations to be spoken aloud in the manner described in the second paragraph.

This universe is magnificently supporting me and mine—with good to all concerned—now. All my needs and all my wants are being met easily and effortlessly—on a full and permanent basis—now. My resources and support are increasing in wonderful ways—now. My wellbeing is increasing substantially—with no harm to any—easily and effortlessly—now. I Am noticed and appreciated in the most positive ways—throughout my totality—now. Whatever I need to know is revealed to me—on a full and permanent basis--now. All channels are open and all circuits are free and blessings and miracles are now happening through me and for me—on a full and permanent basis—now. This life is getting better for me and mine with every passing day—now  This my embodiment is becoming lighter and brighter—with ease, joy, glory, and permanence--now.   Blessings abound for me and mine—throughout totality—now.

Please remember to breath slowly and deeply and pause between each affirmation.

I’ve been working with what I now refer to as the Golden Light of Christ for many years but, in the beginning, I didn’t call it the Golden Light of Christ.  Back in the 1980s, most people were working with the White Light—utilizing it for clearing, healing, protecting, etc. So, I did that, too, but it didn’t seem quite right for me, and I decided to blend the Gold Ray and the White Ray for my work, keeping it a secret for a long time. It was only when I discovered others also had also been working with the Gold Ray that I became more comfortable exposing my preference.  As I recall, it was about 2003 before I began accessing the Internet (which opened up a “whole new world”) and began connecting with people around the globe—some of whom, no doubt, also worked with the Gold Ray.

However, I don’t remember anyone referring to the Gold Ray as the Light of Christ back then. Of course, there probably were, but I just didn’t know about it.  When I began calling it the Golden Light of Christ, I wondered where that “came from.”  I just kept that to myself for a long time because many people equated Christ with Jesus exclusively.  That is not the case.  In the universal scheme of things, the Christ frequency is so much more. Jesus (aka Jeshua ben Joseph) was Christed (anointed), which is why I call him Christ Jesus.   

A comment someone made in a Facebook group led to my thinking on these things and doing some research on the Internet as to when others referring to the Gold Ray aka Golden Frequency aka Golden Light as the Golden Light of Christ began.  I found this description of a video offered by https:// hannelhigherself . com dated March 25, 2011 [emphasis added], titled “Method of the Spiritual Masters – Working with the Golden Light of Christ”:  “Many new spiritual energies are being beamed onto this world and channeled into this world. One of these powerful new spiritual rays is the Golden Light of Christ [emphasis added]. In this Channel Higher Self video you are taught how to channel this Golden Light of Christ from your Spiritual Higher Self into all layers of your human energy system. The Golden Light of Christ is one of the three new spiritual rays of Light that are being used to help ascend the global human consciousness into a higher state of awareness, knowledge, peace and Love. The Golden Light of Christ has the qualities of personal empowerment, healing of the self-image of suffering and limitation, increased compassion and self-acceptance, and unity with God. In this Higher Self-guided meditation, you will bring this Golden Light Christ into the layers of your mind, emotions and body to heal, uplift, ascend and transform them into greater function and wholeness.”  My senior person memory has been far from perfect in the last several years, but  2010-2011 seems about right. As any sufficiently educated person is aware, that many times inventions and ideas come into the minds of more than one person about the same time.  This may have been the case with the Golden Light of Christ but, again, my memory hasn’t been as good in the last several years as it was in the past.

During my Internet searching (which didn’t last long), I also came across some words of Ahtayaa Leigh ( www . worldofhealing . com) that I very much resonate with (here with my insertions and deletions in brackets):  “[…] The Golden Ray is the 12th Ray of Creation and is the frequency of God’s [Divine] Light that emanates from the Great Central Sun of our universe.  It encompasses all the rays of God’s [Divine] light that precede it, and coming straight from Source, it’s a highly potent light medicine for healing all afflictions, initiating a complete transformation of body, mind and soul. When you connect with the Golden Ray in healing you connect with your Highest Self; the aspect of you which resides in Oneness with the Creator.  From this vantage point the best solution for every imbalance is known and the appropriate healing is transferred to your complete body system through the light of the Golden Ray. […] When we work with the Golden Ray for healing, we act as conduits for the light of the Golden Ray to enter the Earth plane from the Great Central Sun, bringing great healing to the collective. […]  Working with the Golden Ray is an opportunity for accelerated spiritual growth.  The more you work with it, the deeper you will align with your higher purpose, awakening dormant skills and abilities in healing and other forms of Spiritual work. […]

To establish or recognize your relationship with the Gold Ray aka Golden Frequency, affirm: “I AM [your name], and I give thanks that I AM attuning to, aligning with and connecting to the Golden Frequency of Light and anchoring the Golden Frequency of Light into this my embodiment—on a full and permanent basis—now.”  Next: “I AM [your name], and I give thanks that I AM abiding on the Golden Frequency of Light—constantly and consistently—with ease, joy, glory, and permanence—now.”  Then: “I AM [your name], and I give thanks that I AM merging optimally with the Golden Frequency of Light—now.” And, “I AM [your name], and I give thanks that the Golden Frequency of Light flows freely within and around me and clears and fills and surrounds and secures my sacred spaces—constantly and consistently—on a full and permanent basis—now.”  “I Am [your name], and I give thanks that I live and move and have my being in a quantum field of Christ Golden Light—with ease, joy, glory, and permanence—now.”  My imagination participates when I speak the words, which makes them all the more powerful. This will happen to all who elect to attune to and align with and work with the Gold Ray—sooner or later.

Imagination is also involved when utilizing the Golden Light Energy to facilitate the healing and wellbeing of my own self and others.  There are so many ways to benefit from the frequency of the Gold Ray, including what we did most recently: spinning disks of clear golden light (which appear like huge vinyl records or CDs) from the top through the bottom of the auric egg (aka auric field). Both clockwise and counterclockwise rapid spinning is beneficial for clearing. Every process that you may have applied to your own self using White Light (which, in itself, can be beneficial) can be applied with the Gold Light. There are so many, some of which we have described in past articles on the ♥Angel-Light Beamer♥, many of which we have in document form available to those who want to know more.
