Update of Facebook friend: In watching events in Baltimore, I realize
that I am ready for unity. Instead of thinking of ourselves by our
distinctions, I wish that we thought of ourselves by our commonality: we are
all human; we all want to be happy; we all love; we all have had pain. So, why
do we cause pain to each other?
My Response:
It can be tempting to puzzle over the violence of some humans against
other humans. Some might wonder about
the wide disparity in consciousness among humanity at large. Well, there are human body-mind units, about
80% of which are hosting souls. Some souls
are more evolved and/or awakened than others. Some human body-mind units have
not yet developed sufficiently to host higher-consciousness souls. Some humans
are living more from the body mind than soul consciousness. Switching to the perspective that one is soul
being housed by a body, one of many inhabited throughout time-space, can expand
one's consciousness considerably and, in many cases, result in more compassion
for others living as human at this dense level of existence.
Oh, well.
It is what it is.
