Been reading about the oil pipeline issue in North Dakota
and the protests of the Lakota Sioux and others. Today, when viewing videos of
dancing/marching Native Americans in costume taken and posted recently by a
North Central Texas Facebook friend who is there at this time, I remember
something that happened in the 1990s, and then remembered something from the
1980s.
In the 1980s, purchased a book on “the Trail of Tears,” about
the displacement of “the five civilized tribes,” which were Cherokee,
Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek (Muscogee), and Seminole, from the Southeastern USA
to reservations in Oklahoma. I was
astonished and shaken when I began wailing at some point when reading in the
book and feeling much grief and distress.
Good thing I was alone at the time!
I decided it was related to a past life.
My biological ancestry has been traced back several generations, and
there was nothing in that information to indicate it to be related to genetic
memories and ancestors.
A few years later, when on a short respite in the Tahlequah,
Oklahoma area, I had an unusual experience when I arrived at the Cherokee Heritage
Center. I felt joy, and telepathically
heard, “My people!” I responded, “And I
have brought you home.” She/He communicated
a few more words that I don’t remember, and then, “Goodbye fair one.” I felt him/her leave my body.
I had taken a vacation into Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama,
and Missippi, but never the Carolinas where a large number of Cherokees are
said to have been based, with some escaping the displacement. Perhaps she/he attached to me during that
road trip. On the other hand, the
attachment might have happened in one of my (soul) past lives. Spirit
attachments can continue throughout many lives.
