Recently a friend shared on
Facebook something that her mother says: “God’s Protective Shield.” That inspired me to create this wellness
prose titled “Christ Protective Shield”:
Christ light. Christ clearing and cleansing
light. Christ clearing and cleansing
light within me. Christ clearing and cleansing light around me. Christ clearing
and cleansing light through me. Christ clearing and cleansing light throughout
and around my home.
Christ light. Christ healing light. Christ healing light within me. Christ
healing light around me. Christ healing light through me. Christ healing light throughout and around my
home.
Christ light. Christ protecting light. Christ protecting light within me. Christ
protecting light around me. Christ protecting light through me. Christ
protecting light throughout and around my home.
Christ light. Christ shielding light. Christ
protective shield. Christ light.
You can substitute “automobile”
for home if you’re reading or reciting this in your automobile (or call it by
its name, such as “Jeep” or “George”).
Or you can choose to add “and automobile” after “home.” You might even substitute the name of your
apartment community or subdivision or the name of your child’s school or the
name of your workplace for “home.”
Slowly reading and reciting these
words while deep breathing is recommended unless you sense you need to rush in
a particular situation.
Most importantly, you can
make this about another person, someone you sense isn’t doing well, or someone
who is living in a war zone.
It’s very powerful.
