I Angel-Light was an itinerant Healing/Wellbeing
Facilitator for twenty years (aka “Traveling Angel”). Got my minister’s license
and was good to go (although I didn’t share that I had the license
freely).
It occurred to me this morning to look up the official
definition of the word “itinerant.”
According to www.dictionary.com, the adjective itinerant is defined as:
(1) traveling from place to place, especially on a circuit, as a minister,
judge, or sales representative; itinerating; journeying; (2) characterized by
such traveling: itinerant preaching; (3) working in one place for a
comparatively short time and then moving on to work in another place, usually
as a physical or outdoor laborer; characterized by alternating periods of
working and wandering: an itinerant farm hand.
The noun itinerant is defined as: (4) a person who alternates between
working and wandering; (5) a person who travels from place to place, especially
for duty or business.
I was the “person who travels from place to place, especially
for duty or business.” I had awakened in
this body several years previously, knowing I was on mission, and began making
preparations to officially begin my life’s work. Often, I would be asked to go places to
assist with needs that seemed to be unrelated to spiritual and metaphysical
affairs but actually were. I learned to have my senses alert and wait until the
hidden reasons for my being in a particular location emerged. Of course, the spiritual/metaphysical cannot
be fully separated from the physical. What
happens in one area affects the other and vice versa.
Looking up the definition and writing this article and
remembering have made me smile inside and out. I gave up the itinerant
lifestyle and the label “Traveling Angel” in 2010. It wasn’t “easy street,” but
I miss it.
