These thoughts aren’t about pastoring churches.
I created a post on Facebook recently that included these
words: We assist people who support our
ministry as they are able and as we are allowed. We don't do "energy
exchanges" or accept "pay for services.”
A Facebook friend commented on my post: They're have been
many, many, many ministers who have crossed my path, and most of them hinted at
money. It is rare for someone to seek
otherwise. I commend you on your chosen Path.
My response, in clarification: Over the 25+ years of my ministry, I
"hinted at money" or requested donations formally off and on--not
since I began getting my social security retirement,
though. I don't have a problem with facilitators reminding people that they
have needs to be met and that hugs and thank you's don't meet those needs. Some
people need reminding. FYI: SS doesn't cover all my expenses, so I still need
the support of those who benefit from the ministry. I just don't ask for it
(other than mentioning it in the ♥Angel-Light Beamer♥ articles).
I was ordained as a minister in 1990. I don’t pastor a
church. The name of the ministry of the Angel-Light Team is Healing Love
Lighthouse. It is not a church. It is a
spiritual and metaphysical ministry.
Minstering is an orientation, a mindset toward
lovingkindness, compassion, service.
We are the Angel-Light
Team—a collective of beings on mission to assist humanity. We don’t do
business. We do service. We trust Divine
to provide for our human instrument through the kindness and generosity of
