Sharing the text of an email sent this morning in response to an
email received.
I have Dawson Church's "The Genie in Your Genes: Epigenetic
Medicine and the New Biology of Intention" (2007), but it's been a while
since I read it. I'm read some of Rupert Sheldrake's words about epigenetics,
but can't really recall enough to have an intelligent discussion. Age-related memory issues, it seems.
I have thought about the issue of past soul lives vs. epigenetics (biological
ancestor lives) off and on for years. There
is also the matter of future life recall to be considered. Since all lives are lived simultaneously when
viewed from a higher perspective and considering it as related to quantum physics
(of which I have an interest and small amount of knowledge), I can't conclude
that past life recall is actually recalling lives of the ancestors.
And then there's the matter of recalling lives as ones of other
races in the last several hundred years.
My body's biological ancestry is known in this country (and all lines
back several generations to the 1600s and 1700s. Very white and western Europe, with possibly
a touch of Native American (not confirmed). Yet, I recalled a life as a little
black girl running and playing on what seemed to be a plantation, dressed in
what appeared to be clothing of the USA. Other people have similar recalls of
living as different races. I could possibly explain this life away as an
attached spirit, but I release any spirits that might be attached several times
a year (to cover bases). This life as a black child, for example, is too recent
to be an ancestor of my body.
Spirits can be carryovers from other soul lives and incarnate
again and again with the soul/soul fragment.
Some souls are collective. Souls have bodies--not the other way around.
Simply put, bodies die and souls live on. And, there are reconfigurations of
souls from time to time for various purposes.
The memories of the soul lives (throughout the omniverse) are often
retained in the “recesses of the soul consciousness” and retrievable. By soul
lives I mean lives of the oversoul (sometimes referred to as whole soul, which
may or may not accurate), which sends portions of its essence (offspring, so to
speak) to participate in various "civilizations." Lives available for recall
(past-present-future/concurrent, depending on perspective) are lives of the
oversoul aka whole soul.
It's certainly possible that past lives are actually recorded in
the genes but, in my opinion, that cannot be the full explanation for past life
recall.
