Recently, I have found myself being led to and exposed to new information on the thymus gland that added to and enhanced what I already knew. The thymus chakra is also called the "soul seat" and the "high heart." I'm of the opinion that the thymus chakra is just as important for clearing and healing purposes as the seven chakras given the most attention, and there are other healers and teachers who agree. Another name for chakras is energy wheels, and that's the term I most often use.
For those who may not know, the thymus gland is located high in the chest between the throat and heart chakras. For many years, I've known that tapping the body over the thymus gland tends to assist the immune system. The thymus chakra/energy wheel is said to work as a reflex centre for higher levels of consciousness and is important for higher consciousness activation. It has been suggested that the thymus chakra is where intent originates and is the source of meaning, direction, and spiritual longing in life.
Like the other chakras, the thymus chakra can be opened, balanced, unbalanced, overactive, closed, or even blocked. As a result of my research and divine communion on the subject of the thymus chakra/soul seat/high heart, I've decided to add it to the Soul-Personality-Energy Analysis we offer because knowing the state of this important chakra can explain a lot of what is going on with an individual. With one's thymus chakra intact and clear and active, one can live in higher consciousness with more love and joy than if it isn't.
I read somewhere recently that the thymus chakra seems to be particularly vulnerable to entity attachment and invasion, which is sometimes symptomized by issues with the upper part of the lungs. That struck a chord with me because I had been working with someone with those symptoms. As I did my research, questioned the Angel-Light Team, and put puzzle pieces together, I realized that this piece of information might be the key to healing for this person and instructed her to practice a certain breath/energy movement technique on a daily basis while we addressed the issue from a distance. When she initially began trying the process (described below), she had difficulty and coughed strongly, feeling as if her lungs were coming apart, but it became easier as she practiced and she felt a big release.
The breath technique I recommended is suggested by Suzanne of www.multidimensions.com (among others), who said in a recent newsletter: "The more you learn to breathe deeply, to become a 'conscious breather,' the more you will activate the function of the thymus [gland], which not only enhances feelings of unconditional love, it also supports your physical immune system." Now who wouldn't want that?
So there you have it people! Breathe and pull in energy through the third eye chakra (and I recommend golden white light), affirming silently that you are so doing, and imagine it expanding to fill and surround you, and then breathe out through your thymus chakra/high heart/soul seat, affirming silently to yourself as you exhale: "I Am releasing and clearing contaminants and impurities now."
