The terms “psychic vampire” and “energy vampire” are commonly used
interchangeably. Recently, someone shared
a meme featuring a well-known person in the media (movies, television) with a
negative comment about people who drain the energy of other people, which
attracted some comments. My comment was:
“If people drain your energy, you have energy blocks that keep life force
energy from flowing freely through you. So focus on self-clearing/healing.”
The term “psychic vampire” is used to describe a living person who
"drains" others in various ways. When most people use the term “psychic
vampires,” they’re usually meaning “energy vampires.” On www.urbandictionary.com,
under “psychic vampire,” we find “Psychic Vampire” followed by “aka ‘Energy
Vampire,’ which is defined as “an emotionally weak person who drains vital energy
from other people, basically what you call someone who drags you down and
wastes your time when you're around them.”
In the truest sense of the term, “psychic vampires” are what is
described at https://www.llewellyn.com/journal/article/513:
“Let's face it—we've probably all fallen prey to a psychic vampire, possibly
without even knowing it. It may have been a chance encounter with an energy
predator that left us temporarily exhausted, or possibly a long-term vampire
interaction with serious wear-and-tear effects on the mind and body. Psychic vampirism is alive and flourishing in
the world today. As consumers of energy rather than blood, vampires of the
psychic kind exist in many guises but with one common trait—their own
inadequate energy system compels them to tap into and feed upon the energies of
unsuspecting host victims. The immediate results of such a one-on-one vampire
encounter are anew but temporary surge of energy for the psychic vampire and a
serious loss of mental and physical energy for the unsuspecting prey. If you
suddenly feel emotionally or mentally depleted, you may be under attack by a
psychic vampire. The unfortunate effects of prolonged energy loss are damage to
the energy system itself and in some instances, serious illness.”
There are a number of other sources of information on the internet
for the reader who searches using the term “psychic vampires.” I’m one of those people who is interested in
the opinions and thoughts of others on many topics and often share them rather
than limit what I share in articles to my own knowledge and experiences and
opinions.
One place commonly used by psychic vampires/energy vampires (both physical
humans and unseen entities/spirits) to drain one’s energy is the sacral center,
which is between the public bone and navel. It was about 1989 when I spent time
regularly in my home with someone who tapped into my body to pull energy for
his own use—from across the room when we were doing our own thing. It was most likely a spirit/entity pulling it
through his body. I had no major blocks so I felt good when that was happening—more
alive. When I began channeling Healing
Love Energy to remove blocks and recharge people in private sessions within the
next year, I noticed I felt very alive all over and was concerned that I was
unknowingly draining the energy of the people who came to receive. No, that was not the case. They felt alive and well, too—some majorly.
I wrote above: “If people drain your energy, you have energy
blocks that keep life force energy from flowing freely through you. So focus on
self-clearing/healing.” One way to start
clearing is to intend to open as a channel of Divine Light Energy to your pets
and your house and garden plants. Then take
a few deep breaths in and out through your mouth. Then place your hands over the pet or plant
and begin stroking gently above their physical forms while feeling agape love.
Some people feel the energy coming through immediately; other people need
several sessions with intent to channel the energy over several days before
they feel it. If it is only felt in the hands, it is possible you are giving your
own energy rather than channeling life force energy, which can mean you will feel
drained to some degree after you end the session. The energy that comes through
you clears and heals you by transmuting and transforming blocks and
congestions. From time to time, you may
notice severe blockages, which means that deeper self-work is needed.
For the record, in the second quarter of last year, I had issues
that I couldn’t seem to resolve by myself and engaged a man in another state to
do remote clearing for me. He did a
great job, but there was one place that wouldn’t budge. I found out what it was
when I had a heart attack near the end of May 2017. One of the coronary arteries was about 97%
blocked. When the doctor told me about that
the day after the emergency room visit and surgery, I knew immediately that was
the block the distant healer could not clear. If it’s in the physical, then it’s in the
energy. (An aside: Since I’ve been about 95% vegan for about
thirty years, the doctor commented that the high cholesterol must be genetic. Questioning
a family member revealed that is probably the case.)
A healthy balance of self-care and the assistance of others
(including licensed medical practitioners) is recommended. I made the mistake of ignoring symptoms for
two days before the pain became unbearable, and I wanted to die to this world. Some would say I’m lucky to be alive.
