Although the word “psychic” comes from the word “psyche,” which means of the mind, it has evolved to also mean of the soul.  And, the term “psychic cords” is also used to mean any type of energy connections in general between people.

There is a lot of information in circulation about “cutting” cords with little or no differentiation among the types of cords, nor mention of energy connections in general. We have discussed this in past years on the ♥Angel-Light Beamer♥ site since its inception (2004) and it’s time to do so again.

There are cords and connections between people that aren’t aligned with the wellbeing of either person and those that are. In most cases, to ensure that a healing facilitator is intervening and not interfering, it is best for the facilitator to leave the differentiation up to the higher self or selves of the individual seeking optimization of his or her wellbeing. The facilitator can choose to identify all cords and connections and ask the angels of the individual which need to be removed, or muscle test the individual to find which are to remain in place and which are not.  There are also other ways as well to obtain the needed information, which we won’t go into here.

When addressing cords and connections, it is to keep in mind that there are the cords, sometimes referred to as “extension cords,” but there are also ribbons, strings, hooks, and other means that people can be connected.  And, these energy connections can develop naturally between people. Unfortunately, they can also be intentionally placed by people who engage in the dark arts with controlling or negative intent. They can also result when one person is infatuated or obsessed with another who doesn’t welcome the affections.  When people engage sexually, the connections almost always develop. I once advised a vegan man that if he is engaging sexually with a person who is a meat eater, then he might as well eat meat, too.  He responded that a mutual vegan acquaintance of ours had told him the same thing. (A person can still be corded/connected with many past sexual partners—although many years may have passed. Not healthy!)  A couple can consciously and intentionally choose to merge in various non-physical ways, such as connecting their major chakras. The input I gave the vegan also applies in this case.

To do a mass “cutting” of all cords can be detrimental to the wellbeing and is most definitely not recommended. Before “cutting” cords between yourself and another person, one is to assume you two are carrying each other’s energy and that the energy of the other person is to be returned to that person and your energy needs to be retrieved from that person. Then, to cover the bases, it is to unmerge/unmeld with that person.  Only then is the cording, etc. to be addressed.  The easiest way for an individual to do this is to ask one’s angels/guides/support team for the unmerging of one from another (if desired) and the return of all the energy of each to its rightful place. (Confession: I often call it “stuff,” as in “other people’s stuff” and “my stuff.”)  Many people separate the energies with their intent via I AM statements, which are a form of prayer. People who do this (with the assistance of a healing facilitator or the help of their angels/support team) are often surprised at the shifts and changes in their physical bodies. (FYI:  Some curious people choose to go deeper and wider by specifically naming areas that may be corded, such as naming the chakras one by one, and focusing on the different layers of the energy body, and so on.)

After unmelding/unmerging and separating the energies of yourself and another person, we don’t recommend the “cutting” of cords, etc. “Cutting” is, after all, a violent term, and residue can be left in place by the process.  Instead, we recommend pulling the cords from both people and then disintegrating and dissolving them into 100% clear light.

Some people don’t want to spend a lot of time addressing connections and choose a simple way to begin addressing the issue of cords and other energy connections between self and other persons. All “energy connections that are not aligned with wellbeing” (and it is important to use these words) are lumped together and addressed in one fell swoop.  (Important note: The term “wellbeing” refers to both individuals—not just the person addressing the issues.)

“Christ is a consciousness, a frequency, an offering to man from the Creator to align to. Christ is, in essence, the vibration of God as realized in man.  The Christ vibration does not belong to Christians. It is a frequency of consciousness that was manifested in form by Jesus and by others in different names over history. No one is without Christ consciousness; it has not bypassed anyone. Anybody is welcome to this consciousness and frequency. Any man, any woman, can be a conduit with the divine. Achieving this connection with the higher frequencies, starts by rejecting what might be termed low-frequency thinking. Your pride, your fear, your loathing of the self--these are the low frequencies that must disband, that must release, that must go away for good. If you believe things will always be the way they have been, that is what you will create. If you are vibrating at a higher frequency, you do not get zapped by the lower because, in fact, you have risen above it. Man cannot be put outside of God because God is everything. God is the frequency of every cell in your being. You are vibration. You are an aspect of the Creator in form. You are inherently perfect, manifested in perfection, that is your true state of being.  You all have the ability to be a tuning fork for the higher frequencies. When you set the intention to vibrate at a higher frequency, your frequency changes and the feeling in your energy field will actually shift. Your vibration will attune to a higher octave. Each time you progress in the higher frequency, you retain the information and the consciousness that you have come to. Christ consciousness represents a change in your own consciousness, a change in how you experience yourself on a moment-to-moment basis. You are changing your path to vibrate at one with your Christed Self. You are calling these energies to yourself. Once this change has been made, your feelings in your body will begin to shift as you begin to exist in a higher frequency. When your Divine Self works at a higher frequency, it doesn’t really get angry about anything. It integrates with the energies of love. True love is a frequency that is emitted and it transforms all it encounters. You will begin to witness the divine perfection that is in every man and woman you encounter. When you move to this level of identification, you resonate at a higher frequency. You align yourself to the Christ consciousness. You know that God is in everything and everyone and cannot be otherwise. When you resonate at this frequency, you bring those around you into the same frequency and align with the Christ consciousness. You are a benefit to all those you encounter. Your choice right now is to embark on this consciousness shift with a decision. These higher frequencies are already working within you. Believe you can lift your frequency and exist at this level and you will.”

I hesitate to write this article because it is personal, but decided that if it would help at least one other person, then it would be worth it.  I have never experienced anything like what I’ll describe here.

I was at a gathering of twenty or so people over Thanksgiving holiday weekend here in the USA and feeling fine when it happened. When standing in the middle of a room with no one near me when I sensed a large dark cloud entering my person from behind. In the few seconds it took, I began feeling weak and had to go sit away from other people to take a few minutes to gather my thoughts. I couldn’t leave to return home until the person who took me to the gathering was ready to leave. 

First, I wondered who (if anyone) that dark spirit came from or through. Based on other information I won’t share here, it wasn’t difficult.  I didn’t address the issue again because it was a crowded venue. I felt okay when I returned home and didn’t focus on clearing that thing—just conveniently forgot about it. (Yes, I’m as guilty as anyone else about neglecting self-care.)

Then, a couple days later, I began having allergy symptoms, which increased over the following week as I explored what affliction caused symptoms to my body, treatments to pursue, etc. There were even those people who automatically assumed I had the you-know-what virus (which didn’t ring true for me at all). I did begin to doubt myself and to think maybe, possibly they were correct.  After all, I never get flu or virus!  Never!  Many years without them. I asked for healing assistance, including prayers via social media. If it was the you-know-what virus, I was going to need all the help I could get. Then I read more about the you-know-what virus and also read about what my symptoms could be about on the Internet.  My symptoms and the you-know-what virus were definitely not a match!  Symptoms worsened. Two steps forward and one step back.

At some point, I remembered the dark cloud/entity at the gathering. Sometimes I feel so stupid! After being involved in spiritual healing over many years (and semi-retired in these senior years), it never occurred to me that it could be an intrusion or attachment. I plead old age aka elderly (76 years).

Some of us are more sensitive than others of us.  Usually, though, intrusions don’t happen that dramatically.  The purpose of sharing my experience is to provide a couple of simple options for dealing with spiritual intrusions.  (Notice that I’m not referring to this as an energy intrusion. There are some similarities, but there are also differences. And, the same can be said for treatment options.)

Spiritual issues can most often be dealt with effectively through prayer. There are different types of prayer and different Divine beings to whom one can pray (ask) for assistance.  Also, one can step into one’s Divine power and affirm and decree (which is included as a form of prayer. One can ask in the name of Christ (or the Light) and give thanks for in advance.  One can call forth and command. One can “I Am” in the Christ (or the Light).  And so on.

A basic, down-to-earth prayer concerning the spiritual intrusion I experienced would be to ask for “the neutralizing, disabling, and deactivating of any and all intrusions and attachments to me and mine that have been causing allergies and infections, and the releasing and clearing and banishing of them all from my totality—throughout creation—now.”

A higher-level way of dealing with such an intrusion would be worded (and correct words for prayers and affirmations, etc. are important):  “the neutralizing, disabling, and deactivating of any and all intrusions and attachments to me and mine that have been causing allergies and infections [and this is where the words begin to change], the transmuting and transforming of any and all such intrusions and attachments into 100% sacred neutral clear light, and the transfer of that light from me and mine to Source—throughout creation—now.”  

Remember this is about spiritual healing/clearing—not energy healing/clearing. And, yes, there are other methods in use, some of which I personally use, but one has to start somewhere.
