I want to recommend Dr. Wayne W. Dyer's latest book, Inspiration: Your Ultimate Calling (CA: Hay House, 2006). Appreciating it so much that I plan to read it a second time! I realize that I've not been living as "in-spirit" as I did in the past. Let's just say that I needed this reminder! (Thanks to the new non-fiction books section of my main library!)
This inspirational masterpiece has five sections. Part I: Inspiration--Living In Spirit. Part II: The Fundamentals Of Inspiration. Part III: Giving And Receiving Inspiration. Part IV: Conversing With Your Spiritual Source. Part V: A Personal Look At Inspiration. Wayne Dyer informs us in Chapter 1: "In this book I'm going beyond an understanding of the inherent power of intention . . . by describing how to live in-spirit and hear the voice of inspiration even when we're doing absolutely nothing that we'd call purposeful. This is quite different from being highly motivated. In fact, it's almost the opposite of motivation."
Here are some words from Chapter 13: "As you can see, countless opportunities to reach into the lives of others in an inspiring way arise every single day. We can either act on these momentary impulses and feel inspired, or we can ignore them and stay in our ego-dominated world. I choose to act, for it makes me feel creatively alive, connected to good (God) [what I, Angel-Light, call Divine Spirit] and everyone else in the world."
