At the end of a deep meditation time today, I heard a pulsating electronic sound (aka "Star Wars") and clearly saw a white teddy bear wearing pink ribbons and carrying pink flowers. As I left that level of consciousness, I glimpsed angel wings on the teddy bear. It didn't amaze me, for I've witnessed so many things in altered states of consciousness over the years. Just wondered who sent it.
I've been thinking that it's no wonder that people become confused when presented with a hodge podge of scenarios/realities--some of which seem to be incompatible with others, some of which seem stranger than fiction. As humans, we tend to want to organize and categorize and store information in a nice and orderly fashion. That's how our brains work--most of them, anyway. We can't succeed because this universe is not set up that way. There are not clear, distinct boundaries between worlds/realities. Some of us want all the answers, the whole truth of existence, but it will continue to elude us. Hence, frustration.
I recommend giving up the quest for a black and white reality/definition of existence (which is, after all, nonexistent), lightening up, dealing with the challenges, and enjoying the ride as much as possible.
