Comments made in an email to a person we coach and counsel led to
a decision to write a blog article on this subject. We can have people in our
life without being entangled with them. Being entangled with other people
can be a negative. Sovereign free will
beings don't get entangled—at least not knowingly. Once entangled, it can be difficult to
disentangle/untangle.
Dictionaries tend to agree on the definition of entanglements:
something that confuses or ensnares; something that is complicated; a
complicated or compromising relationship or situation; a situation or
relationship that is difficult to escape from. The definition most applicable to this article
comes from www.whatis.com: Entanglement is a term used in quantum theory to describe the way that
particles of energy/matter can become correlated
to predictably interact with each other regardless of how far apart they are."
When one person is energetically entangled with another person, one is usually carrying around the energies of that other person, and the other person is carrying around one’s energies. If one is energetically entangled with several or many people—well, you can guess where this is headed. It is understandable if one chooses to carry around the energies of one’s love-mate and want one’s love-mate to carry around one’s energies (which doesn’t mean it is necessarily healthy); it is quite another to be carrying around the energies of others.

It is understandable if one chooses to carry around the energies of one’s love-mate and want one’s love-mate to carry around one’s energies (which doesn’t mean it is necessarily healthy); it is quite another to be carrying around the energies of others.
There is also the matter of consciousness entanglements—often
combined with energy entanglements. However, the two conditions can exist
without each other. If you’re the kind of parent who wants to know where one’s
teenager is every minute, then you two are probably share a consciousness
entanglement. Ask yourself is this is
healthy.
It is up to the individual reader as to how to deal with
possible entanglements—if at all. Personally, once a year or so, I go through a
process of untangling/disentangling from other people. Affirmations/Decrees work for me, but if you
want to ask your Divine Support Team to do the work, that’s okay, too. We have shared several times this year how to
affirm/decree and how to work with one’s Divine Support Team (and in years
past)—most recently on June 18, 2014 in an article titled “Affirmations,
Decrees, Prayers.” It is recommended
that the reader reread this article.
If you choose to affirm/decree, the body of the affirmation/decree
could be: “I Am untangling me and mine from ________--now.” You can put
"the Smith family" or just an individual's name or a couple's
name. Or you can attempt to cover all with "I Am terminating all
energy entanglements and consciousness entanglements that me and mine have with other people--now." (The sensations when I used this, more specific, method of clearing were wonderful!) If you prefer to ask the heavenlies for
assistance, then follow the instructions in the aforementioned article. One
method is to first call on/invoke your Divine Support Team (or whoever you
choose), and state: “I Am asking you
please to ___________--.” Another is to
affirm, after getting the intention of your heavenlies, “I [name] decree I Am
calling forth, asking for, and giving thanks for________--.”
If you don’t rush through the process of eliminating
entanglements, you’ll probably notice subtle shifts in your energies and a
quieter mind—and even feel lighter in body, mind, and spirit. We appreciate reports when readers have
