Saw a meme on Facebook recently with these words: “Allow yourself to rest. Your soul speaks to
you in the quiet moments between your thoughts.”
Some people understand that Souls send only fragments of
themselves to incarnate in human body-mind units and remain on a higher, finer
plane of existence. These are called Soul extensions. The person who created the meme apparently is
of this school of thought.
Others maintain that Oversouls send portions of themselves
to this plane of existence, and that one’s Oversoul (aka Soul Source) is one’s
Higher Self. If Soul
extends into bodies at third density, then Soul would be the Higher Self. Honestly,
I’ve gone back and forth from one belief to the other over the last thirty
years.
I don’t sense that the labels we use when discussing this
subject make a lot of difference. Whatever feels most comfortable to you, then
be there. However, I do find that Soul
Source is the label I feel most secure and comfortable with.
