Earlier this month, during telephone time with someone out of
state who had been experiencing some challenges, he reminded me that for years
I’d been recommending he follow every negative thought with the word “cancel”
with the intent to cancel the thought. I
suggested to him that he can add the words “neutralize” and “delete” to cover
more bases. And, because images often
accompany negative thoughts, including the word “erase” is a good thing.
If not dealt with immediately, negative thoughts can take form and
inhabit the recesses of one’s mind, coming up when opportunities present
themselves, and even becoming habits. These are called “negative thought forms.”
Those thoughts that become habits can be more difficult to eliminate.
I like to speak the following affirmation/decree: “I Am [your
name]. In the name of the Christ, with my applied conscious intent, with the power
and authority of my Divine I Am Spirit, and with the power of my spoken word, I
[your name] decree and declare I Am neutralizing, cancelling, negating, voiding, and erasing all negative thoughts and all negative imaginings that me and mine have
created and are creating—throughout my totality—now. And so it is!”
Negative thought forms created by others can become lodged in one’s
energy and, thus, become part of one’s consciousness. Speak this affirmation/decree to cover that
possibility: “I Am [your name]. In the
name of the Christ, with my applied conscious intent, with the power and
authority of my Divine I Am Spirit, and with the power of my spoken word, I [your
name] decree and declare I Am neutralizing, cancelling, negating, voiding, and erasing all
negative thoughts and all negative imaginings that me and mine have created and
are creating, and neutralizing, cancelling, negating, voiding, and erasing the negative
thought forms in my energy field and consciousness that originated with others—throughout
my totality—now. And so it is!”
Note: When speaking these affirmations/decrees, you can substitute
“auric egg” for “energy field” if you wish. And you can substitute “in the name
of Christ Consciousness” or “in the name of Divine” for “in the name of Christ”
if you prefer.
With practice over time, you will notice the negativity decreasing.
