In one of the Life Between Lives sessions of
Richard Martini (author of “Flipside—A Tourist’s Guide on How to Navigate the Afterlife” (2011) and
other books), the facilitator asked: “Can
people have parallel lives or lives that overlap?” Richard’s soul/higher self responded: “It depends on the person. There are people
that can have parallel lives, meaning their energy is in two people simultaneously.
If everyone has 100% energy in the afterlife, let’s say only 50% comes to Earth,
and you split out the other 25% and another 25% into other human beings—do the
math. It’s a rare thing to do, a
complicated maneuver, and only really adept souls can try to pull it off.”
Actually, there can be more than two parallel
lives. We’ve occasionally found people
with up to four parallel lives during the years of our ministry. Research reveals that other facilitators have
also discovered up to four parallel lives. I’ve read session transcripts in
several books over the last thirty or so years that describes them. So, it does
happen, although it may not be common. Exploring parallel lives in session can help
in understanding circumstances and issues of one’s life, just as can exploring
so-called past and future lives. We’ve
touched on the subject of parallel lives in several articles on the ♥Angel-Light Beamer♥ over the fourteen years of its existence. We’ll
share some writing of a few others about parallel lives from a quick Internet

easy-to-read and comprehend information (and you might want to read more
articles on this site): When a soul is
ready to enter a body, only part of it reincarnates. The rest of your soul
energy is left up in other realms and dimensions to carry out other ‘things’. This part of you may be dormant or it could
be living out a full and happy ‘life’ up in the higher realms. This can also
help to explain how a soul, who may have already reincarnated into another body
and another life, can still visit and send messages to loved ones as the family
member or friend they were once known as.
This essence of You that is in the higher realms, may also split or
travel down to a dimension that is not Earth but is accessible to those living
on Earth. This is the dimension or the realm of the Higher Self. In this realm,
your soul energy (which I have termed your Higher Self) can guide you and work
with your human self. It is almost like your Higher Self is a type of spirit
guide but it’s really just you! Your
Higher Self (soul energy) has much more understanding and awareness about your
earthly journey than you do living on Earth, which is why it can guide you and
motivate you forward. You can tune into your Higher Self at any time, and receive
loving guidance from well, You! It is
only when you have learnt to open up to a higher level of consciousness, that
you can access this part of you. In a
way, your Higher Self is not really living out a parallel life exactly, it is
more an extension of you living in another dimension that is available as a
resource.

[…] So lifetimes are that way. You have those that are called past and present
and future lifetimes that are those which are in the same space as you, but in
different times, and that's your illusion. You also have those lifetimes that
are called parallel lifetimes, which are in the same time, but in a different
space. There's a "you" that's alive now that isn't this you, but is a
parallel to you. It's not literally a geometric parallel, but it's a
"parallel" to you in time, not space. Some of you have two or three
parallel lifetimes. A "you" might be living in New York City right
now, a best-selling author living on Fifth Avenue with a view of the park or
whatever. A parallel life is a split-off of you. […] There are overlapping lifetimes that you have
because all the lifetimes are happening at once. Time is an illusion. All
lifetimes are simultaneous -- past, present, future, parallel, overlapping. All
of them are happening at once. The most correct way would be to refer to all lifetimes
as concurrent lives experienced in varying time/space continua. That is rather
bulky, so you call them past, present, future, parallel, or overlapping. This
is technically incorrect, but it is efficient and effective. Like time itself,
it is an illusion that is technically incorrect, but both efficient and
effective.
Dr. Michael Newton writes in his first book, “Journey
of Souls: Case Studies of Life Between Lives” (1996): “Most of my colleagues
who work with past life clients have listened to overlapping time chronologies
from people living on Earth in two places at once. Occasionally, there are three
or more parallel lives. Souls in almost any stage of development are capable of
living multiple physical lives, but I really don’t see much of this in my cases.
[…] What we must appreciate is, if our souls are all part of one great oversoul
energy force which divides, or extends itself to create our souls, then why
shouldn't the offspring of this intelligent soul energy have the same capacity
to detach and then recombine?” Dr. Newton
writes in “Destiny of Souls” (2000): “The
energy of the soul is able to divide into identical parts, similar to a
hologram. It may live parallel lives in other bodies although this is much less
common than we read about. However, because of the dual capability of all
souls, part of our light energy always remains behind in the spirit world.”
And, “Many people feel it is common for souls to live parallel lives. I have
found this not to be true at all. The souls who choose to split into two or
more bodies within the same general time frame on Earth want to accelerate
their learning.” Dr. Newton writes in “Life Between Lives” (2007): “Dim light
(not to be confused with younger souls) is particularly evident with souls who
have chosen to live parallel lives in two bodies in the same time. This
practice, designed to accelerate learning, is not encouraged by guides for the
average soul because it causes such an energy drain. On the other hand, I have
had clients that are not living parallel lives who decided to bring less energy
(under 30 percent) into a host body because they were overconfident about their
capacity to handle a life. Many of these clients felt a lack of energy in life
without knowing why. Their motivations were to leave a greater percentage of
energy in the spirit world to carry on their work there more vigorously. This
remaining energy would thus appear brighter in the spirit world. There are
people who make themselves less effective on Earth because of this decision.
The average soul takes around 50 to 70 percent of their energy into a body.”
