A friend shared a quote of Denzel Washington on Facebook
today: “Some people will never like you
because your spirit irritates their demons.”
As a semi-retired spiritual warrior (along with other mission-related
activities) of 25+ years, I know the truth of that! I had a huge laugh when I read those words
and shared it on my pages and in several other Facebook groups.
I’ve been writing a memoir in recent months titled, “Adventures of
a Traveling Angel: 1990-2010.” Here is an excerpt:
While waiting for a particular library to open two consecutive
mornings, I noticed a young man who was possessed by dark entities, standing a
little apart from others. He was very uncomfortable with my presence and gave
me dark looks when he dared to look at me at all. On both days, he walked
around in a large circle near the entrance, glancing at me from time to time,
muttering indecipherable words. On the
second day, when there were several people waiting for that library to open, I
silently blessed him and asked the Team to remove the demonic entities from him
and fill and surround him with light. Would you believe he actually glared at
me from about eight feet away and drew a sword I couldn’t see and moved it in
ways to indicate that he was having a sword fight. He was looking and aiming
his “sword” right at me, and several people noticed, but I didn’t move an inch.
I recognized that the young man was battling with the warrior light angel who
had arrived to be with me several days prior and, at that time, had
communicated, “I’m going to take care of you!”
Here’s another excerpt:
When I was placed/assigned somewhere, it was usually because of
the location and/or people nearby being in need of spiritual healing and/or
divine assistance. When staying in an apartment for a few months, there was a
person in the apartment upstairs with mental illness and on medications. His
behaviors revealed to me what his main issues were. The demons in his body
would sing their communications loudly, and I could hear them through the
ceiling which connected the two apartments. He would stomp around all hours of
the day and night and singing messages loudly, including "go away” and
asking “who are you.” When I would shut
the door to leave the apartment, I could hear him run to the front window and
see him peering at me through the blinds.
Once we cleared the young man of undesirable outside influences, there
was a big improvement in his behaviors.
Of course, there have been many other cases of someone’s demons
being irritated by the presence of the Angel-Light Team—especially when our
light was very bright. On the other hand, some people (particularly healing
facilitator types) have noticed a demon targeting our person. It told one
shamanic-type healer several years ago that its job is to kill me (meaning the
body) and claims that it is not going anywhere.
Not dead yet! So far, no one (including
the Angel-Light Team) has succeeded in banishing the thing, but there will come
a time (sooner rather than later, I hope).
