When our dense 3D human bodies can no longer
sustain life, our souls vacate. There are differing beliefs and opinions about
what happens after souls leave their bodies, and more than one of them can be correct.
In other words, not all departures are the same. What’s more, one’s programming (by virtue of
living as human), as well as one’s religious beliefs, can affect what
happens. In short, a soul expects
specific scenarios and is usually accommodated (at least temporarily) by the
higher/over self (and angels and guides) to make transition of the soul as comfortable
as possible.
Any individual reading this piece is probably already familiar with Near Death Experiences (NDEs), for many books and articles and videos have reported on that experience. However, these reports give only partial reports of what happens to souls upon leave-taking of the body.
Fortunately, we have the words of teachers on higher planes of existence (including overtones of 3D) that speak through their human instruments (where an aspect/facet of their souls is being hosted)—information that has been coming through more in the last hundred years than in previous centuries. More importantly, there have been practicing hypnotherapists with various credentials who have unexpectedly been given information about souls transitioning through their clients under hypnosis and gone on to intentionally seek such information from their future clients. I’m familiar with some of them (and like to read the case studies they have shared in their books and articles). Chief among them, in my mind anyway, is Michael Newton, Ph.D. Dr. Newton trained people based around the world to uncover information in what is called “life between lives” sessions. The work of Dr. Newton, who transitioned from his body several years ago, has expanded via the work of his trainees/practitioners, with even more information uncovered. At the same time, there are others who continue to do their own research on the subject. In addition, we have the memories of some souls who remember some of their past lives and transitioning.
Getting to the subject of this piece, we also have reports of souls who have spontaneously travelled in the astral plane without training and also souls who have been trained by various people to do so safely. Robert Monroe founded The Monroe Institute before his transitioning, and that organization continues to train people. There are many others around the world.
Personally, I was told by people serving as messengers in the 1980s and 1990s to stay out of the astral plane because I’m too sensitive and it would be harmful to me. Do I always listen and follow instructions through other angelic messengers? Sigh!
If you don’t know about the astral plane, please do an Internet search, for it would take up far too much space in this article to adequately cover it here. Will also help you understand how souls can fail to connect with their escorts home. There are various reasons that can happen, including trauma to the body and soul at death, attachments to loved ones, not believing what they are experiencing and what they see is happening (the light and the light beings who come to retrieve them, etc.)
Anyway, while walking across the front room in my apartment home this morning, it suddenly occurred to me send all spirits stuck or trapped on the astral plane around my home and person to freedom. These are commonly called “wayward spirits” and “lost souls” and are not “spirit attachments” in the strictest sense of that term. We (a soul collective) have released and transferred spirits to their rightful places in creation so many times since officially beginning our ministry through this human instrument in 1990. Facilitating specifically for wayward/wandering spirits and lost souls is somewhat different.
I called in some extra assistance before proceeding with the transfer of the trapped, stuck, wandering, and wayward souls/spirits stuck and trapped in my area. Several hours later, after my space had been noticeably quieter, I asked how many we assisted, and received about seventeen. Funny thing is that in an hour or so after the process this morning, another one showed up and asked, “Where is everybody?” (Yes, wayward spirits sometimes roam in groups.)
