I’ve written too many times to count on the importance of positive statements/ affirmations/ decrees for wellbeing (using various titles). Recently, I’ve been exploring the basics of neuroscience on the Internet. In doing so, I came across some words that validate all those articles simply.
A famous rule in neuroscience coined by Donald Hebb states, "neurons that fire together, wire together." This means the more you repeat a thought or action, the stronger and more efficient that specific pathway becomes. Hebb's theory—often called Hebbian learning or cell assembly theory—proposes that learning and memory occur when the connections between neurons are physically strengthened through repeated use.
Since there are well over a thousand blog articles (since 2004) on the ♥Angel-Light Beamer♥, finding all those on this subject would be very challenging—except, there is a search blank on the left side of the site above the heading of each blog, which is very easy to find if you’re searching the Internet via a computer, but less easy on your cell phone—unless you know how to direct your phone to the left side of a page. [Depending on the device, my blog can show up horizontally as three columns, with the actual articles in the center column.]
If you want to read some of those articles, to start your search use enter “Affirmations” to start. The site will pull up numerous articles, which you can scroll down. Then you can search for more by entering “I Am.” More possible sources can be found in many of the articles.
[Angel-Light: If you can't create positive thoughts and affirmations, at least create them neutral--rather than negative. Intention held in mind is recommended, such as “I Am creating ___________ thoughts.” In the blank could be one or more words, such as wholesome, positive, healthy, loving.]
