Someone in a Facebook group asked other members for information on “cord cutting.” These are commonly called “psychic cords.”  However, as we’ve written in previous articles on the Angel-Light Beamer, a more accurate description is “metaphysical cords” (because psychic and psyche have to do with the mind).  And, there are not just cords, but also ribbons, strings, and various other connections between people that can cross-contaminate so that the two people are carrying each other’s stuff in varying degrees. There were some valuable and useful tips offered in the comments.

I added my own comment to the thread: There's more to it than cutting metaphysical cords and connections, and several different ways of doing that. Intent to disengage and sever all NEGATIVE connections is top priority. Differentiate. And it is not to approach the process as if the other person is totally to be "blamed" for the cording, etc. It is to accept responsibility for the co-creating of the connections/cords. All the metaphysical cord/connection has transferred into each person is to be removed and sent back to the other person (to cover bases). Then the cords/connections are to be gently pulled out/disengaged and penetration points sealed before being dissolved or transmuted/transformed into clear light. It is more violent to just cut it. True, this may not matter for weak cords/connections, but why not start gently?

SOUL & LIGHTBODY

SOUL & LIGHTBODY

Someone asked in a Facebook group recently:  Is it possible to live without a lightbody?
Someone responded:  Seems to me it is like asking if we can live without a soul.  It is your soul's luminosity that makes the energy body light.

I commented:  I wonder if so-called "unsouled humans" have a light body. I wonder if any researcher/facilitator has ever come across a human without a light body. I never gave that any thought until just now, and I've been awake and aware and curious and learning and facilitating for about 30 years. I'm going to check that out with my resources.

Someone responded: Well let me know what you surmise and why. It is a very good question.

My thoughts and research. The bottom line is that we’d have to have at least a semi-firm definition of what a soul actually is.  Theologians and philosophers have debated the exact definition of the soul for ages, but it almost always stands for that indescribable part of a human unlimited by the body. Other than that, there are contradictions among the many descriptions and definitions on the Internet and in books and articles.  Let’s see what we can find on the Internet.

First, we have various definitions in dictionaries (and these aren’t all different): the spiritual or immaterial part of a human being or animal, regarded as immortal; the immaterial essence, animating principle, or actuating cause of an individual life; the spiritual principle embodied in human beings, all rational and spiritual beings, or the universe; the part of you that consists of your mind, character, thoughts, and feelings; the principle of life, feeling, thought, and action in humans, regarded as a distinct entity separate from the body, and commonly held to be separable in existence from the body; the spiritual part of humans as distinct from the physical part; an entity which is regarded as being the immortal or spiritual part of a person and which, having no physical or material reality, is credited with the functions of thinking, willing, and choosing; the moral or emotional nature of a human being; the spiritual or immaterial part of a human being or animal, regarded as immortal; the immaterial part of a person; the actuating cause of an individual life; the part of a person that some people believe continues to exist in some form after the body has died.

Now let’s move on to some other resources:  Here's something from www . ananda . org: The word “soul” can be used in two different ways. There is the pure soul, the Spirit of God in each individual, which is ever-existing, ever-conscious, ever-new Bliss. The soul, as God’s reflection, has the same qualities as God.  However, the soul can become identified with the physical body, and take on its nature. References to “spiritual progress” or “soul evolution” use this definition, because the soul that is aware of its true identity as part of God is already perfect. Souls only evolve or progress in the sense that they go from identifying with their physical bodies to identifying with God. This can also be called the ego. Here are some words from www . yogapedia . com: The soul is the part of an individual that is considered the immortal spirit. It is considered to give life and breath to the body, but leaves the body upon death. In yoga, it is believed that contained within each person is a Self and a soul, of which there are two types: the individual soul and the universal soul, or super soul. In many religions, the soul is thought to be eternal and unchanging, and created by or connected with the Divine. It is considered to be the force of life, spirit, light, or the Divine within a person. It is also considered in many religions and cultures to be the eternal and most real part of an individual.

The lightbody aka merkaba is the human energy field, and it has several layers.  According to long-time “Master Teacher” (my label for her) Barbara Ann Brennan, the spiritual layers of the human energy field are causal body aka ketheric template, the celestial body, the etheric template body, and the astral body. Barbara labels the physical labels mental body, emotional body, etheric body and, of course, physical body.  All except the physical body are layers of the lightbody as I understand it.

Here are some definitions of lightbody aka merkaba from the internet: a gridwork of light and sacred geometry that brings together your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual being; it radiates light energy and electromagnetically links your multidimensional self with the infinite universe; the chariot of the soul which must be activated to achieve ascension.

The site www . alchemyrealm . com has a good article I recommend titled “The Light Body.”  An excerpt:  The light body is a structure of light from higher dimensions. Like the physical body it is a vehicle for consciousness. As your physical body contains organs and other physical structures, your light body contains various structures of light. Between lives you journey in the light body to various places and dimensions and it is the central vehicle used to incarnate into any of the nine dimensions. This astral body incarnates into the physical dimension through its interaction with the etheric body [located nearest the physical body]. The light body incarnates by shining through the astral body. It is much larger than the astral body and is around and above it.

A 2003 article in Paradigm Shift magazine: The Lightbody is a higher dimensional body of light which contains our Divine Image as a perfect being. It is also our Merkabah, your vehicle of Light for ascending to the higher dimensions.  However, this Lightbody is dormant in most of us. When the Lightbody is activated, we have much greater access to our Divinity. Eventually as we ascend the physical, etheric, astral, causal, electromagnetic, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies all merge into the Lightbody and we turn into a pure being of Light. [There are degrees of activation, and activation usually happens gradually, in steps.]

According to www . gaia . com (and many other sources):  The light body is our vehicle to graduate from the human condition to return to source. If the goal of each soul is to merge with Source/Divine/God, then the activation of our light body is what gets us there.

I’m given that every soul has a lightbody, and it is claimed by many that the lightbody is the vehicle for the soul, which makes sense and seems true.  However, some researchers claim that some (a large number of) human body-mind units are “soulless” aka “robotic.” That would mean these units function as part of a group soul (not the same as soul group) and don’t have a lightbody.  On the other hand, I am one researcher who has found that the consciousness of an embodiment can have one or more robotic elements/units.  I’ve learned over the years that a human body-mind unit can be partially souled. Indeed, most are only partially souled—for many reasons. That would be a long chapter in a book, so we won’t go into it here.  I’ve also found that the consciousness of a human body-mind unit, whether soulless or souled, can be comprised of various types of beings/lifestreams/entities who are being hosted by the human.

It seems from my research over the years and from the research and sharings of others that the soul is a portion of Creator/Divine Spirit residing in human body-mind units via the lightbody/merkaba vehicle, and that various lifestreams can inhabit the body with or without the presence of soul or Divine. Those without the presence of Divine could be (and are) called “soulless humans” aka “robotic humans.”

And that brings us to the question:  What is Divine, who is Creator?  (Chuckle!)

GIVING & RECEIVING

GIVING & RECEIVING

This afternoon (after a round of giving—more about that later), a quote came to mind, “When you most need to receive is when you most need to give.”  At least, I thought it was a quote from many years ago.  So, I decided to do a google search to find the source of that quote.  Found nothing. However, I liked the selection of “giving and receiving quotes” I found at https:// www . goodreads . com/quotes/ tag/giving-and-receiving and decided to share some of them with readers of the Angel-Light Beamer. More quotes and information on the quotes below can be found at the link.

Rasheed Ogunlaru: “A rich life is lived from a giving heart not a selfish mind.”

Jennifer White: “If you don't receive enough, have a look if you give enough.”

Henri J.M. Nouwen: “We often live as if our happiness depended on having. But I don't know anyone who is really happy because of what he or she has. True joy, happiness, and inner peace come from the giving of ourselves to others. A happy life is a life for others. That truth, however, is usually discovered when we are confronted with our brokenness.”

Charbel Tadros: “Humans are givers by nature; that's why it's easier to do something for another than for oneself. Try it, you'll see what I mean.”

Clyde Lee Dennis: “When you give more than anyone could possibly expect you get more than you ever expected.”

Debasish Mridha: “Just like you can’t reap a harvest without planting seeds, so you can’t get without giving.”

Donald Pillai: “Each of us will be remembered, either by those close to us or by those who have benefited from the greater good which we have done.”

Paul Silway: “Some think that God rains money from heaven. These people can never be blessed because they themselves have shut their door towards prosperity by not giving and telling others not to give.”

Debasish Mridha: “Life is a balance between giving and receiving. The more you give, the more abundance will fill your life with joy.”

Amit Ray: “If you want to ask one question, ask yourself, what are you giving to the universe and only that will be returned.”

Katherine Center:  “[…] I was figuring out how doing something for other people could, in fact, be doing something for yourself. Amazing.”

Dragos Bratasanu: “The more you share unconditionally what others most need, the more you will receive what you most want.”

Colleen Mariotti: “Give without expectation and receive with reckless abandon.”

Dragos Bratasanu: “The only way to heal is to help others heal, and the only way to find love and keep love in our lives is to give it to others.”

Debasish Mridha: “Just like you can’t reap a harvest without planting seeds, so you can’t get without giving.”

I want to add one of my favorites from Abigail Van Buren (Dear Abby):  “If you’re not giving, you’re not living.”

And, now, more about my round of giving this afternoon.  This month, I have been able to replace most of the coil-type, soft light, long-lasting bulbs in the lamps and fixtures in my apartment with daylight, long-lasting, standard-shape bulbs.  After replacing some more today, I found myself with a big collection of unused and partially used bulbs to give away.  I took a couple new boxes (eight bulbs) to a resident who is often in need of this and that. Yes, she wanted the bulbs!  She also asked me for another household item she had used up, and I said I could provide that and asked her if there was anything else she needed.  She hesitated and took a deep breath, during which I sympathized with her about having a long list of needs and wants my own self. She asked for another item, and I went to fetch both requests and delivered them to her. When I returned, she said she’d be needing some quarters to do laundry soon, but not in a direct request manner. I’ve given her lots of quarters over the years, and she knows I’ll give her what I can when she asks. Sometimes it’s not all she needs, but I keep enough to help out a little at least.

Then I decided to take another new box of bulbs to the community laundry room with a note indicating they were free to residents. However, on my way, I came across another resident and decided to offer that box to her. She was delighted because she had just given her last light bulb to another resident who asked her for one.  How wonderful!  So, then I retrieved and gave her all the bulbs I had to give away—about 15 new and partially used. She was thrilled!  How wonderful! The next time a really tall person comes to my apartment, maybe he or she will use my two-step stool to remove the light fixture cover in the living room and replace the three old-style bulbs.  I’ll have so much more light!  Bright light!

“When you most need to receive is when you most need to give.”   Giving to receive wasn’t on my mind when I gave things away this afternoon, but that quote did come to mind after I had finished. (Higher Self input maybe?)  Isn’t giving fun?!
