Of all the books on the recommended reading list I share with others, the most difficult to find is Unveiling the Secrets of the Soul, which was published in the mid-1990s by Dream Dancer Publications (at a list price of $22.95). I didn't purchase a copy for myself when I attended a promotional event given by the authors, Leslie Mikaels and Jecobie Roberts. However, I read someone else's copy and added it to the recommended reading list. Several years ago, I was pleased to find myself a copy in the Half Price Books flagship store in Dallas. (Awesome place!)
I cannot do the book justice in this blog because it is packed away in the storage unit with most of my other books. However, I'm inspired to share some information at this time about how the aspects of the human soul, each of which represent one of the lives the soul has lived/is living (taking into consideration parallel lives and linear time being only a third-dimensional thing), can participate in the current life. An example described in the book is as follows. There are two colleagues/associates, a male and a female, both happily married, who have interacted several times a week for several years in their company's offices. In all that time, there has not been any attraction between the two--until one day when he walks into her office. They are both startled and surprised to feel the chemistry between them. What happened?
It's about shifting of aspects of the human soul--which happens over a lifetime. The human body-mind unit remains the same, of course, but the soul often experiences aspect shifts. If the souls of the two business associates were/are romantically involved in one or more other lifetimes, their souls remember. If the aspects of their human souls who were/are close in other lives happen to be "front and center" at the same time, then there is a spark of recognition and, thus, attraction. This process can also turn amicable associates into two people repelled by each other if their past life interactions were full of animosity and violence.
Mikaels and Roberts learned of "aspect therapy" from their teacher, who assigned them the task of writing the book. And what an excellent job they did! It's clear, concise, easy-to-read, and anyone who reads it will have some "aha's" and be left with a better understanding of the nature of human souls. I highly recommend it--if you can find it. If anyone finds a supply of this book anywhere, please consider donating a copy for the future Angel-Light lending library.
Also on the recommended reading list are: Susan Shumsky's Divine Revelation, which assists spiritual seekers with setting boundaries and avoiding negative unseen influences; Sylvia Browne's Life on the Other Side: A Psychic's Tour of the Afterlife; Deepak Chopra's Life After Death: The Burden of Proof; all of Zecharia Sitchin's books (by date of publishing from earliest to last); Forbidden Archaelogy: The Hidden Mystery of the Human Race, by Cremo and Thompson, which is on the same topic as Sitchin's books; Norman Paulsen's Christ Consciousness, a large book which is autobiographical in nature, but not dull by any stretch of the imagination (quite the opposite, in fact), which covers a lot of territory, including UFOs, and which is educational by virtue of its contents. Last but not least, I recommend Paramahansa Yogananda's Autobiography of a Yogi, which is a thick, comprehensive tome that opens one's consciousness and leaves one full and satisfied. Copies of these books are also sought for the Angel-Light lending library, for I do not want to part with my personal copies.
