Watched and discussed a DVD about crop circles, which included information on orbs, at an Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) gathering today with about 15 other people. During the discussion afterward, I mentioned that most people in the USA have young souls. The immediate response from someone else was, "That's not what I'm hearing. I'm hearing that most people born after 1955 were here at the time of Jesus." There were some funny comments, and we laughed about it because several people in that room were born before 1955 and went on to discuss other things.
The responder to my comment missed the whole point. Generally speaking, it is understood that soul age does not refer to how many lives a soul has lived on earth in human form or how many years the soul has been incarnating on earth but to the evolution of the soul. Actually, some young souls have lived more lives than some mature souls. We have incarnate on earth at this time infant souls, baby souls, young souls, mature souls, old souls, and even a category or two beyond. One of the two categories beyond the old soul level is transcendental, but I forget the name of the other. I was privileged to have a friend and associate in the first half of the 1990s who was beyond the old soul level. She experienced many of the same difficulties as others and had some of the same issues, but she had a certain essence that I could sense was truly beyond my own. Obtained Michael Overleaves readings for both of us, and that was confirmed. (I'm an old soul and still have some evolving to do!)
There is a human animal soul group just as their are soul groups for other animals. We have the human body mind, called ego and personality. Then we have individual divine souls who extend parts of their essence into these human body-mind units. We are spiritual beings having human experiences. When one prays, "Not my will but thy will be done," one is submitting the will of the body mind/ego/personality to the will of Divine--Divine Soul and Divine Oversoul. Consciously and intentionally aligning with one's soul and one's oversoul is a start toward becoming and being the soul incarnate (rather than identifying with the ego/personality).
