Did you know there is a rock and/or grunge band named Soul
Collective and also one named Collective Soul?
As regular readers know, that’s not what I’m going to write about. It’s
just that I did a google search for both terms today to see if I turned up any new
information or interesting stories, and all I got was numerous listings for
these bands. I didn’t have the patience to scroll through several pages of
listings for something different.
One dictionary defines the noun collective as a cooperative
enterprise. That’s closer to what this article is about. During the last couple
years, my Divine used the term “collective” to describe the Angel-Light Team,
and I began adding it to writings and posts. Up until I recently I had assumed
we were all of the same Soul group.
Then, recently when doing an Internet search for something or
other, I saw a link for an article titled “Soul Conception, Incubation and
Birth” at www.soulhealinghandbook.com.
This is a site of Clive Shane Hetherington, who also has a site named www.soul-healer.com. There were some more short articles on the
site, and descriptions of a pdf e-book titled, “"Self Healing Handbook:
The Advanced Handbook of Soul Transformation” (copyright 2001). I was curious and decided to download the
238-page easy-to-read book. Mr. Hetherington, Australian-based, offers the
download with the understanding that, if it is useful or beneficial, the person
downloading would donate in appreciation. I decided immediately to donate and did so after
my senior mind figured out how. I picked a few short sections to read and then
decided that I would start from the beginning.
I’m in Chapter 4 now. Sure, this
info is not new to me, but Mr. Hetherington writes with an intent and purpose and
style that almost makes it all brand new. It makes sense! I’m aware that I can learn
and get ideas when reading the writing of others and also receive Divine input
in my consciousness.
Mr. Hetherington describes a collective in Section 3.6: “[…]
Others, however, come in and, by prior arrangement, swap consciousness with an
already-occupied human vehicle. […] Those who incarnate via the more usual means
have been labeled by some as crawl-ins, while those who use the consciousness
swapping method are called walk-ins. […] Everything else within this handbook
is from my own direct experience and knowing; however, as I am not a walk-in,
then all that I say from here on about this subject area is second hand.” Mr. Hetherington goes on to describe a friend
of his: “She is here as part of a twelve-being team that together have a
particular mission profile. As part of this mission, they all have different
skills and qualities that are needed at particular times. In this regard, they
can consciously exchange. So, in one
sense, they are a collective using
one human vehicle as a focal point within this reality with the current
occupier being the one most suited to their mission requirements in that
moment.” He adds that these are not
different aspects of the same being but different, individual beings. [emphasis
added]
After reading that, I asked my Divine and received that all of us
of the Angel-Light Collective aren’t of the same Soul. Truth be told, from time
to time over the years, I had wondered—briefly.
We are the Angel-Light
Team—a collective of beings on mission to assist humanity. We don’t do
business. We do service. We trust Divine
to provide for our human instrument through the kindness and generosity of
